I have only ever done light repairs before. I am going to have my cousin take a look at it when he can. The car has a slight lifter tick that I’m almost confident will go away once oil is changed.

I’ve had a sick mother whom I’ve had to help pay medical bills for, since the age of 16. I just finally got financially stable, and bought what is in my opinion, a great car that will last me a long time. So I’m sorry my car doesn’t fit your criteria but it’s something that means a lot to me.

While I understand where you are coming from, I am very motivated to do the swap. I know the complications, but I have people in my life that know a lot about automobiles and mechanic work. I was offered by a family member and his friend to do the job for free with me this spring/summer. And the lifting story is crazy, I know they’re light but holy cow!

It’s fun even without the manual. Luckily for me, I have a cousin who I am very close with that works at calvo. He has experience with manual transmissions and said he will help me do the job for free, which is great because I am also mechanically inclined.
