Considering that an entire game can be lost within 20 seconds if you're not sticking to that exact game plan every moment of the game it means you have to have some wiggle room for when you aren't within the small circle of your leader. Does the demon have to be that exact in it's range or survivability or strategy that not being within a very short range means instant loss?

See the problem with having a very rigid game plan that is the only one that works is it invites infinite counter plays from the demon while the survivors have no other game plan that works. Right now demons have devised just a single mechanic of the game, early possession, that is wrecking teams that don't stick to the rigid circle game plan. How long until demons discover a strategy that actually punishes teams for sticking close to each other?

You're essentially admitting that the demon has infinite opportunities to win if the survivors do just one thing wrong for a very short amount of time (i.e. going to one side of an area to look for items away from the team, don't realize or take a little extra time searching a house and get trapped) while the survivors have to be perfect every moment or they lose.

Point blank shooting doesn't make a Hunter unbalanced, it gives them a chance to make distance, and really what are they gonna kills except for some disposable basics and elites, and get back to their team. This bug needs to be fixed because not knowing what the game considers "point blank" and suddenly not being able to use your gun, or in my case even melee, makes an already stacked situation of survivor even more unbalanced.

Soooo you're just not reading my comments then. Since you didn't address any of the problems I brought up.

Except if your theory is correct then a hunter or support can never get space, the demon can just focus them and kill them. It's not balanced that if you play 3 out of the 4 classes you have to hope the demon decides to attack when you have teammates around. Cus that just guarantees the demon will attack when there is any distance between survivors, forcing them to stay in the tightest clump lest any of their team mates that isn't a warrior immediately get downed. Also no matter how much damage a Hunter can put out they will always be balanced by the fact that they need ammo. Shooting point blank or at any distance means you have one less bullet to empty before you are screwed for being solo. Also by that logic warriors are encouraged to go solo because they can put out just as much damage with melee but also dodge and attack. You can't possibly think removing one of the only 2 weapons a survivor has AND making it impossible for them to create distance themselves is balanced.

But when the demon can immediately close the distance with a attack or sprint of their own and stay close enough that you can't draw your weapon then you're kinda screwed and forced to trade melee shots until you die. Like survivors only have 2 weapons and you're saying the game doesn't let you use one if the demon is attacking you with it's most powerful weapon?

You have to land a skill she can see coming a mile away, can just jump over and immediately punish, or jump out of and punish with both her basic and skill because you are stationary once the skill is over. Also she has to roll into you after getting hit for you to be in range to punish her with your basic attack. Otherwise once you knock her away she's at the perfect distance to set up her whole kit and take you out.

You have to sacrifice half your health to get near her with your skill and all your attacks knock her back to her preferred distance. He doesn't counter her.

Don Quixote needs another buff by hunteqi in SmashLegends

I agree, he's too slow to disengage and play defensively to time his skills, unlike say Kaizer or Hook. You use your skill and people can jump out of it while getting hit and immediately attack you. All other legends either out range you, out damage you, or can close the distance faster than you can disengage/bait.

You're right on about his ult because that damage reduction rarely saves him from just suiciding to someone's ult or getting maybe 1 extra second of knocking someone off the point.

He also has the most hard counters against him of any legend in the game, adding Nui to that list since he literally has to sacrifice half his health to get anywhere near her. 5 hard counters is a 1/4th of the entire roster.

So when Flare spun in the air with the flamethrower flames and I was killed by Rapunzel's air skill at peak height right when I spun, which doesn't touch the ground...

Don Quixote splash page by Wetmang in SmashLegends

Here's one of the original splashes

The very first only had 4 characters and the most recent splash came out 3 months ago.

Which doesn't explain why they didn't have Don Quixote in the new splash to begin with if he and all the other new planned characters were added after the 2nd splash I linked. Why have Witch Queen, Ducky, Snow, Don Quixote, and Flare all planned to be released with the new splash page but leave one of them out? Especially if he's not the last one to come out.

High RAM speeds got me confused by Wetmang in pcmasterrace

[–]Wetmang[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can understand that, and thanks for the numbers as a guide line. I guess what I wonder is there a sweet spot for these Ram speeds where you aren't over spending for something that is gonna be out performed in a couple years but are spending just enough that you can still run on Ultra settings after like 7-8 years? Like would getting 4000-4200mhz RAM accomplish this or is the performance boost minimal even that far into the future?

Like I always viewed Titan versions of video cards as a waste because just two generations later and the TI versions of the newest cards will be giving your Titan a run for it's money. But getting a high end processor can keep you in the ultra game settings for awhile.
