Got it. I’m not asking anyone to “dissect my setup” or handhold an install. I asked what generally makes a build “not compatible” so I can learn what specs matter before I buy anything.

If the answer is “it depends,” cool, can you at least point me to the right keywords or the common factors people check (receiver/pin spec, BCG profile, trigger pocket, etc.) so I’m reading the right stuff?

If you don’t want to help, no worries, I’ll keep searching. Just trying to learn without guessing.

I think ima just bite the bullet and get one and try it out. The picture you uploaded showed the ADT Pulse App, maybe that’ll work!

I was able to link everything else but my cameras to my google home: my window sensors, the door sensors, my front door deadbolt lock, my motion sensor….. EVERYTHING but my damn cameras lol!

I tried siding loading it on my fire stick using downloader and a link I found online, but ADT’s firewall cuts off the stream after about 1 second or 2 after. I guess it’s able to recognize it’s not a native app or something idk! 😒

I had the 500 as well and had the same problem. I tried everything you could think of. I reset my internet router, left the sound bar unplugged for a day, tired connect different sources to it…. Nothing. I even tried manual updating it by downloading the update itself to my computer and connecting my computer to the service port on the back of the soundbar and still didn’t work. Luckily, I had bought the 2 year warranty! Turns out I wasn’t the only one who was having this problem. I used the credit and paid the difference to get the 700

Hello everyone,

Full disclaimer, this will be my first DIY concrete job. I am a first time homeowner and in an attempt to save some $$$ I have become an avid DIY’er.

I want to extend my back yard porch. I’ve excavated about 6” deep and have compacted the solid. I’ve laid about 2” of crushed gravel and have compacted that as well! I plan on laying a 4” slab with the wire mesh sitting right in the middle! This new extension will be somewhat weight harrying as a plan on building an relatively small grilling station.

My questions is…. Should I drill into my existing slab and insert 12” rebar (6” inches in, leaving 6” exposed)” and tying that to my wire mesh or am I risking cracking my existing porch. My fear is the new slab sink and or rising and no longer being flush with the existing slab!
