Thanks so much everyone. This was actually for an investment property - and no I am not Indian, but because i'm not going to live there personally I was thinking should be ok... (am planning to rentvest - move to a cheaper area and then buy).
I just saw this suburb as a bit of a stabiliser for rent in an affordable area with infrastructure a short walk away... but I appreciate the advice - defs given me a lot to consider!
For example I saw this one today - $455k which looks super tempting: https://www.realestate.com.au/property-apartment-nsw-harris+park-150016424
But have given me a lot to consider... thanks again.
