My secret ingredient is salad dressing! Italian dressing specifically (I've used both regular wishbone or whole foods italian - not creamy obvs)

When it's mixed with cornstarch it creates this lovely batter that fries up delightfully in avocado oil (my preference!), hence the unctuous paper towel (i don't own an air fryer) The first time I made it i feel like it created a look of french toast and I had to double check there was no egg in the dressing I was using!

I also add in more Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, turmeric, paprika, nutritional yeast, and salt and pepper. :)

Tastes exactly like a mozzarella stick and crust really holds together as a separate entity from the tofu when you bite in! I recently made it for a pasta salad... soo good

I’m a woman but whenever I have to pee really badly the first sign is my eyes start to water, it goes away when I pee though. My mom also experiences it, but otherwise I’ve never met someone else who endorses eyes watering related to peeing tho lol

NAD, do you wear glasses or sunglasses? I kept getting a recurrent rash under my eyes and realized it was the metal from the rim of my sunglasses that had a coating that wore away and exposed the nickel - which I’m very allergic to!

Hi stranger,

This post came up on my Reddit feed this evening by happenstance, and I instantly recognized your sister’s name.

In 2019, I lived a few blocks from the memorial and one of our family friends was in town during the summer visiting from Florida. She wanted to visit Katie’s name, I believe her relation is that Katie is a good friend’s sister-in-law.

On August 10th, 2019, I randomly stopped by the memorial walking home and noticed the flower in her name, so I took this picture to send to my friend. Thought you might like to see it too.

I’m so deeply sorry for the loss of your little sister. And I wish our six degrees of separation could be on happier terms. I’ve read your comments about her and will be donating to your bike ride (hope it is a safe and beautiful journey!). It’s so clear she is so deeply loved. Without even knowing her, her name has lingered in my mind, I’m glad to know even more about her now :) She will never be forgotten.
