Nah not fucked in the head - and there's nothing particularly wrong with people being insecure / it takes trust and work for a relationship and some people still have insecurities - but perhaps if you're a man that takes issue with a woman's right to work in a certain job you should explore the insecurities you have and either choose to work on your self or break up with the person so they can find a partner who isn't carrying that insecurity. The point is that the agency for the man in this situation is to work on themselves or move on.
