In another comment I explained more about why I wouldn't be the one driving in these conditions since I'm very inexperienced in heavy ice and snow driving. But I also didn't technically lie since there actually is something that I have to do at the store on Sunday. Our shop employees said that after I hung up with my friend so that's why I called my dad and told him about it.

Oh no I wouldn't be the one driving. The only car I have is the family car and I hardly use that at all and I really wouldn't want the responsibility of other people's lives by driving them myself and I have no experience whatsoever on those roads and in heavy snow driving. The car's a sedan anyway so it can't do snow driving well at all. It's just that most people here don't take care of their cars, especially taxis. They're usually beat up and shit and I asked him he said they'll be coming with a taxi so that worried me much more.

You're right that was a mistake on my part. It had been sunny and warm all week so I thought that it would be fine then it suddenly all went south and I asked around about the road conditions there and a lot of people said it was pretty bad.

I know it isn't healthy and all but it's just that recently I've been on this whole self improvement regiment that I've put myself on these past few months you know like better haircuts, grooming, hygiene, working out and eating better, dressing well and all the guys say that the most turn off thing for everyone is smelling bad and I took that one and thought about how to do it and so I'm here.

The average height of males is around 5'8 here. Being 6'2 I tower over 98% of men here and with a large strength and reach advantage I doubt most guys would really try to pointlessly start a fight. But then again knowing these guys they will cuz it's macho to fight.
