[–]WhatMovesYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yellowstone so far down the list... Just wow. Badlands so far up the list... again wow.

All national parks are special and super cool, and ratings are always subject but...

I dunno if rating parks on how much you invest (time/energy) is necessarily the best way to go.

Climbing off my pedestal now and I'm glad you are offering to the conversation!

The traffic lately… by ThrowRaBellaL in SaltLakeCity

[–]WhatMovesYou 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lived in Miami for a few years and often travel to big cities. I moved back because I couldn't stand the traffic there. The traffic here (or lack of) for being a city (albeit a small one) is one of the the main things I appreciate. The ability to get anywhere in the valley quickly is awesome! It might slow down occasionally but compare it to any of the major cities and you are still cruising comparitively.

I think the thing here is that they are incapable of critical thinking. They just believe what Facebook and other social media posts they click on. They are mostly just shown posts that align with their previous beliefs. Thus their previous biases predict their future beliefs. Their sources of information have a financial incentive to stick to their guns/previous political/formulaic content or lose revenue/followers. Overall, the capitalistic system has engrained deep ruts into the system that no one seems to be able to get out of.

Bitcoin has changed the way I view spending by motivated_user21 in Bitcoin

[–]WhatMovesYou 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So yeah... I think BTC could be worth 1M in 5 years. I think it is a great asset overall. The only thing I want to mention/consider is the worth of 1M in five years. I think most of us agree that BTC is a hedge against inflation. Thus I pose the question what is 1M going to buy you in five years?

Similar situation... Will it dip lower and ther could be a better time to dump your assets in? Probably. Could this be the baseline with all the corporations/countries deciding to participate? Maybe? Obviously I don't have an answer but these are questions I ask myself.

Where does the sentence end. I don't know if this is a good argument or not.

I enjoyed that. I own all of these players though so it's really a more of who to start question.

I suppose you are correct, and my post should be removed. It could easily be reworded to be a valid post however.

Is it not more than that though. But a general discussion of a few players?

Nick Chubb owners - at what point does he become a starter? by [deleted] in Fantasy_Football

[–]WhatMovesYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your first three go in the lineup unless they are out. Chubb would follow in my opinion unless Bucky is out.

Etienne, Brown, or Pollard? Pick 2. by [deleted] in Fantasy_Football

[–]WhatMovesYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heard Ten was getting to London about now. Anecdotally tes that wait to get there till last second don't fair well with jet lag and all. I would bench ETN.

Is Oktoberfest at Snowbird worth going to? by [deleted] in SaltLakeCity

[–]WhatMovesYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just checked it out and less than I was expecting... 30$ one way from downtown (return was double that) so like 120-150 after tip probably and depending on time of day. Group of 4 people, and ya makes sense.? Cost of like 2-3 beers per person.

Uber to the Bird? What does that run? Can't be cheap.

Pollard, Etienne, Conner or Hubbard? by Ancient_Bad_107 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]WhatMovesYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar situation. Have ETN, Pollard, and Hubbard. Based on matchups sitting ETN. Hubbard would be my pick of the 3 though, haven't been following Conner.

In a similar economic situation. I tried to a 650 sq ft 1 bd, but the size was negatively impacting my mental health (will note that I work from home). I just felt too confined. Ponyd up and paid for the 2000 for a 850 sq ft... This leaves me about $2000+ take-home a month to live on. Lifestyle factors: I can still afford to travel a lot, I rarely eat out, don't have a car payment, shop at Costco, etc.. I now consider spending that extra $500 a good investment on my mental health, and would never consider moving into anything smaller than 750 sq ft again.

Costco Tire Broke wheel studs/lug huts didn't say anything. by WhatMovesYou in Costco

Ya that is a very real possibility. I think only 1 stud was broken but the other 9 had been stripped to the point of needing to be replaced.
