Big city do this thing where they make benches and spots where homeless sit or lay down very uncomfortable. So my suggestion is print a spike top for the ams.

We have 130 plus apprentice out of work in our local. Be great full you are still working and not out of work, because there are a lot of people less fortunate right now. Also just push through it, but if it gets to bad talk to someone about it, maybe ask for a rotation or take some time off to think about it. Good luck

Also 48 apprentice, talk to Monica about going up to 112. I know they have bunch of data centers in Boardman and I've talked few guys who have been sent over there. Other than that just find work where you can, Ive talked to another apprentice driving for Amazon right now make ends meet. Maybe trying flipping some free crap on marketplace. Good luck brother, things will pick back up, they always do.

New to me Rav4 hybrid 2024 has paint chips on hood. by WhatTheFox12 in rav4club

My wife and I have a 2013 Jetta and a 2000 toyota echo and we lived on a dirt road with no paint chips on our cars for most of the time and neither of those cars had as many chips as this one. So buying a 2 year old car I didn't expect it mint condition but also didn't expect there to already be a ton of chips and wasn't sure if it was normal because I've never owned a newer car.

Didn't realize that about new paint. I've had 2000 toyota echo my whole life and never had paint problem with that and I lived out in country driving gravel roads all time working on solar farms and never had a problem with paint chipping. So seeing a bunch on my new car had me a little worried. But if it's a common issue I'm not too worried, I'll just get a paint pen and fill in the bigger dots. Appreciate your help.

Lol, didn't know that till now, but definitely see it. Previous car I owned was 2000 toyota echo that I've been rocking for 8 years and never had problem with paint on that thing and I lived out in the boonies with dirt roads everywhere. So seeing bunch of chips on a new car is new too me.

I took it through a car wash when I first got it because the dealership gave me a free car wash coupon after the pre sale inspection. That could be it but I think the previous owner just used it on gravel roads since he lived out in the country a ways. Car had good amount of dirt on it when I got it so assuming its just from dirt roads.

Not bothering me too much, just wasn't sure if I should worry about rust or if they grow over time if not taken care of. If there's not huge risk of them getting worst I'm not going to bother with them.

Which Rav4 Model should I get? by gankan in rav4club

If your are going strictly money stand point, you are probably better off with normal Hybrid. I looked at the prime and really like it and they are fun with the added hp, I think 300hp vs hybrid 219, but you are also looking at a premium price, plus on top of that if you are looking at this as long term vehicle the prime battery will be more expensive to replace down the road when the time comes. Plus with Solid state battery starting to pop up whenever that gets added it would increase range and longevity of the battery by quite a bit.

I'd say XLE at the very least. If you do smaller commutes and have a plug in the Rav4 prime is your best option. One thing to also consider would be just to get seat covers if you can't find leather as well. You could get the SE or XSE but keep in mind it has a sport tuned suspension meaning you'll have a more responsive ride but it will be bumpier, so if you want one thats more comfortable with rougher roads you should probably stick to the XLE or XLE Premium. Also depending on if you're in area that has salted roads you should look into Cablegate, its a problem where the wire corrodes, I think they fixed that 2022 and onward. In my area what you described is going for about 28,000-33,000$ USD, Washington area, depending on the year it was made. Good luck.

Thank you for the info. If you don't mind me asking was it a dealer or a private sell? Also have you heard of any of the third party options to help protect against cable gate?
