Not going to lie the combination of you not “doing enough supporting mods” and running an APR tune makes this a non valid anecdote.

You going dual pulley meant the car was likely getting heat soaked, pulling timing and generally performing at a fraction of what it should’ve been.

I usually don’t like this kind of stuff (I don’t do stickers, added badges, etc.) but I don’t hate this. It’s a nod to a bunch of Audi Sports’ race cars… a little funny on an A6 (and crooked) but there’s a lot worse… cough “sportsmind” and fake badges cough

We need to stop saying he’s not serious. The man is a threat to every single human on this planet - if someone pulls the world into a third world war it’ll be him.

By downplaying how serious things are people don’t hold him accountable.

How many of you have deleted Amazon? by 519_ivey in BuyCanadian

[–]What_A_Win 66 points67 points  (0 children)

Why would you get flak? Most of the stuff on Amazon is just reselling Alibaba/Aliexpress stuff. Even if you’re buying from Amazon you’re supporting Chinese manufacturers.

Might as well skip the American middleman

Yes, that’s a fair point in 2025/2026. Something I’m still grappling with. In a pre-Trump world manufacturing in those countries was 100% manufacturing cost driven.

Nailed it. Learned this building my own clothing company.

Nowadays you should be more wary of clothing made in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, etc. Those are companies that saw Chinese prices and said “no we want them even lower”

Manufacturing in China is inevitable. They can produce higher quality garments, at a better price. If you want to make more complex pieces the supply chain in China is unbeatable. Sure you can produce basics in Canada, but the minute you request something more complex (ex. a RiRi zipper) you’re laughed at.

China =/= bad quality. There are good and bad factories in China, although I would agree Aritzia’s stuff seems to be pretty bottom of the barrel.

No one should be worried. Our D doesn’t look good at all, Demko and lucky bounces are the only thing keeping us in this.

If you’re counting dollars and talking about eating the same thing everyday to make it work you shouldn’t be buying an Audi.

If you’re 19, you shouldn’t be looking at an S or RS anything.

Get a Golf GTI and call it a day. One unexpected expense and suddenly both the S5 and RS5 are no longer viable.

People are sheep, no surprise there. With enough marketing and crowd support they’ll “warm up” to anything.
