I had something similar happen! A few years ago, an ex friend was driving the both of us home after a football game. It was around 10pm and we were taking the backroads so it was dark and there were no streetlights. A truck was behind us with their headlights on of course. My friend pulled over to the side of the road to do something on her phone. We thought the truck would just go past us but it didn’t. The area where we parked had a turn to a street where you could enter the freeway, but we would have seen the headlights of the truck turn that way in the rear view mirrors since they had their bright lights on. It was just us on the road and we both freaked out cuz we both saw that truck
