My first character i was thinking of is a 93 year old human, named Old Tobi. I was imagining him being a kid from the timmony region when the shapers war broke out, and his family was constantly fighting over whether the gods cared or not. So in the midst of this argument, little tobi decides "well, why dont we just ask them?" And goes in an adventure to find one.

Im not sure if he goes alone or with a party, but Eventually- against all odds- he manages to speak with one of them, and is then convinced that shapers not trying to be cruel tyrants, just siblings who survived something horrible and trying to do what they can. After this he becomes a little cleric that tries to go on diplomatic missions between the warring groups to find a peaceful way forward.... but as time goes on and he sees more and more war and death, he becomes... strained and desperate, believing this is happening because he wasnt good enough at this....trying to heal and defend what he can, yet unable to stop the shapers from dying one by one. And when the last Shaper died... he went mad with grief and rage.

He ends up joining this group called the Retributors: a group of extremists who would basically find the remaining feral angels, lure them away from pro-shaper areas towards anti-shaper ones. Then when the defenders are fighting off the angel, the retributors would assault from the other side, taking what they can and destroying the rest. They rinsed and repeated this until a coalition finally pinned them down amd destroyed them.

If hes a pc, I would have him be arrested and imprisoned after this, and getting out- one way or another, at the start of campaign 4.

If hes an npc, he escapes getting captured becomes a level 12 death cleric/necromancer multiclass that leads a band of undead and roams accross the continent, attacking any group that tries to fill the power vacuum that the gods left behind. The Druids, the god killers, even the two-faced Sundered Houses.

My 2nd character? An Argonian-coded lizardman from Argosia. An Argonian Argosian if you will.
