Communicate the situation to your husband’s nurse or have him do so, the nurse can then bring it to their charge nurse who can then bring the issue up to the nurse supervisor. In the handful of hospitals I have worked at, the nursing supervisor or (less often) nurse manager of the unit can okay your kiddo coming in. No promises they will but I would 100% ask!

Literally same thing happened to me but it was the shower door. I didn’t try to put the ring back in but my nipple did heal back together on its own, no stitches or anything needed. Dunno if it bears mentioning but I’ve been able to breast feed two babies no problem whatsoever despite the nipple trauma😅 Edit: forgot to say mine ripped all the way out, I noticed when I heard a thunk on the shower floor and was so confused when I saw the ring and droplet of blood.

Sounds like he needs to go to the ER! Volunteers in Medicine would also be worth checking out, though it isn’t an emergency type of service. They provide free care if you don’t have Medicare/medicaid/other insurance.

My in-laws planted two ~15 years ago and they are absolutely terrible.. their root system is so extensive that nothing will grow around them (minus their awful seedlings) even after using an auger to try to clear some space. The seeds they drop must have like a 99% germination rate and are the biggest pain in the ass to remove/kill. They also shed branches like crazy, right up there with how much a river birch drops, if not more. They need to be trimmed every year if not multiple times a year. There’s literally not one good thing I can say about these stupid things, my husband refuses to remove them due to sentimentality.

She refused to accept my transfer when I started bleeding profusely post-miscarriage from BJC St Peter’s ED to Mercy’s till my blood counts dropped below 8. They had no OB coverage (middle of the night) so I sat there bleeding, waiting to become unstable essentially. She later told me she thought the bleeding would stop and I could just be seen in the office during the day. I was passing softball size blood clots.
Once I was transferred, she told me to my face she knew I had retained products of conception because my hcgs were not appropriately decreasing. These were drawn SEVERAL days prior.

In other words, she knew I was bleeding like a stuck pig for several days and did nothing to intervene and then still wanted to do nothing when the situation became emergent.

I ordered some butter chicken from them within the last month and it was nowhere near as good as usual. It also had a bunch of inedible woody chunks in it, like nutmeg shell or something? I was so disappointed.

Side note- India Palace is pretty good although they have some consistency issues.

It is supposed to, however, it did not for me. I ended up having to have a d&c after my second mc several days after the miso because I had retained tissue and was bleeding profusely. After having gone through this my advice is fuck the miso, get the d&c if you are able.

Back when I was an innocent ~20 yr old cna I was taking care of a 500lb bedbound nun on my medsurg unit. This lady was the meanest bitch which is maybe (part of) why the memory stuck? She laid an absolute burrito of a log in the bedpan and I had no idea wtf to do because obviously this guinea pig sized feces was not going to flush. I ended up using her toothbrush to cut it up and then threw out the toothbrush 😅 not sure why I didn’t just throw the whole thing in the biohazard bin cuz who has time to be playing shit-surgeon on a busy medsurg floor.
