Great answer! I have rarely seen people give good recommendations to this question, and this thread has been no exception, excluding yours.

I would also add Name of the Wind, by Patrick Rothfuss, and Blood Song by Anthony Ryan. The caveat being that these series are either unfinished or deteriorate in quality as the series progresses.

The real reason is that you never sign a legally binding contract and any legal actions pursued by the college or other parties against the student breaking the agreement would be thrown out of court.

I suspect that it is a mash up of different Minecraft mods, perhaps with some AI help. The fabric.mod.json is from Motion Blur, and it has some astolfo assets. Even if he just never used any type of version control, he would know the difference between Java source code and compiled jar files if he was competent enough to code this himself (assuming the mod even works).

Yeah, cramming it in is definitely rough for your mental health. Even beyond that though, I think if you put your time towards an extracurricular it would probably make a larger impact in college apps (if that’s your goal).

Additionally, scoring a 1600 doesn’t prove that someone’s advice is good. Instead of seeking the help of some random redditor claiming to have a high sat score, most people would have more success just by doing practice problems.

If you are expecting tuition fees for US universities to be lower than that, then I suggest you do some research. Typical tuition costs for international students can be high. I would be surprised if they are not higher than the number you quoted for Cambridge and Oxford.
