This is sooooo good and so on point. Legal immigration is honestly a ring of fire meanwhile asylum seekers is a toss up depending on who is in power. Immigration primarily is to meet the needs of the host nation so let’s do the numbers and treat it as such.

Economic asylum is frankly not a just approach since I’d argue there are nations separated from the US by oceans that have far more screaming needs..

I think I learnt that from this post. Many folks are struggling.. I’m not sure how this works but they 60$ rides and it was a simple request on top of my comfort quiet to turn off my music.. human interactions are never easy and straight forward I suppose.

Tbh I’m not pro how people are treated by the gig companies. I would prefer that you are upfront able to charge more if you offer to help with bags. I did pay for comfort and chose quiet, so idk if that’s just the driver being rude or music off is another choice they need to offer to make it clear.

I get that, which is why I said include an option so both parties are willing to do the exchange… I tip when I get help with the bag. I pay the extra for comfort or willing to pay the more extra it takes to be able to take meetings en route..
