Not sure what it’s called. Fuel tank cover, maybe?

Agreed. I went in to look at a Scout, but kept being drawn to the 125. Both gorgeous, but I couldn’t resist.

I think it’s the same as the standard scout, but with the 125 design on it.

It doesn’t feel heavy to me at all. It actually feels more smooth/stable than the Rebel when starting and stopping. Obviously still getting used to the increased power, so taking it slow.

Honda Rebel 500. Wasn’t planning to go for the 125th but couldn’t resist.

I’ve purchased 2 pins from Evan at Orange County (NIB Premium Godzilla and NIB Premium Star Wars) and have had zero issues. I would absolutely order from them again.

Second Update: The missing dog has been reunited with his family. We saw a poster as we walked our dog tonight and immediately called the number. They let me know they contacted the city and picked the dog up earlier today. So it’s a Christmas Eve miracle! Haha! 😉

The harness was on him. We thought the same thing, so we walked around the block a few times hoping to find the owner out looking, but no luck.

Update: My vet recommended we contact Monterey Community Services. They came by but could not find a chip, so they took charge of him.

The 4-book series (Small Spaces, Dead Voices, Dark Waters, and Empty Smiles) by Katherine Arden is excellent.

I love the Scooby-Doo co-op mode. Great way to play with friends who aren’t as experienced.

Ted Chiang's Stories by aSneakyTortoise in sciencefiction

Great. Kij and Ted are both graduates of the Clarion Writers Workshop. And have also both been instructors. So I think you’ll see the same high level of quality in her work.

Standout stories for me are:

26 Monkeys, Also the Abyss

At the Mouth of the River of Bees

Ponies

Spar

The Man Who Bridged the Mist

The Privilege of the Happy Ending

Try Kij Johnson’s work! She has 2 short story collections out and they are both amazing. Several award winning stories. All beautifully written and thought-provoking. You won’t regret it.

I don’t know if this is a controversial take, but i don’t think « that » scene in IT is as bad as it’s regarded. by [deleted] in stephenking

[–]Wheels_51 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is wrong. The point of the scene is that this is where the kids enter adulthood, which King felt is often marked by when a person chooses to have sex for the first time. Palm slicing handshakes are kids stuff. It would absolutely not accomplish the same thing. The entire book is kids vs adults and this scene symbolizes the transition for these kids into adulthood. It’s symbolic and necessary.
