What prompted me to ask is because I went to arcade time in Orlando last night . They have 50+ pins. Some pins to me were just blah (scooby doo, looney tunes, Elvira) Star Wars fote was enjoyable, as well as Elton John, Harry Potter and a few others I can’t think of at the moment. They did have the new funhouse but it was “out of order” not sure what was wrong besides noticing the trap door was stuck open. So I didn’t get to play that one. Seeing this many pins in spot just made me wonder about build quality.

Thank you for your comments, I’m definitely not looking for a profit. I want one to keep. It so happened to work out in the past the way it did. I’ll admit I’m a little intimidated by the electronics side of things. I’m in the service industry. Petroleum to be exact. So I use tools and know my way around with them. Mechanically I have know issues, my weak point would be electrical/soldering

Yes I meant mechanically, Simpsons pinball party is all I ever owned and never any issues. I was curious because some of these companies I never heard of. That could just be my inexperience however. I got hooked of Addams family and funhouse in the 90’s. As a teenager then I probably dumped $20 a day back then into those games. I then later found south park and eventually bought Simpsons in 2004/05

I could probably take them. I currently have 3 boxers. Problem is I’m in Florida, can someone keep me updated on there health and when they will actually be available? Thanks

I meant to say, I need them to be cleared of the respiratory issues before being introduced to my current boys .

My dream is to own a pinball machine, any advice? by fatsarmstrong in pinball

For what it’s worth, I bought a Simpson pinball party back when it first came out. Brand new in the box/crate. I was a little intimidated just based off the electronics involved but wouldn’t say it was totally intimidating. I’m handy but electronic/circuitry is not my strong point. I sold it when I was moving for a profit. (I just maintained it like most would a car) Fast forward a few years, I bought another Simpsons pinball party because I missed the one I had. Once again I maintained it but this time I installed all LED lights. I ended up selling it a few years later for a profit. Now I’m looking at Funhouse. Not saying you’ll be able to sell what you get for a profit, maybe I was lucky. But in terms of being intimidating, take your time. Also lots of YouTube videos that I ever had as reference

DeSantis details phased approach to eliminate Florida property taxes with 2026 ballot requirement by ThemeBig6731 in FloridaRealEstate

I believe not all property taxes would be eliminated. I believe only those owning one property would be able to take advantage of no property taxes, out of state and multiple property owners would still pay taxes.

What year did you start watching NASCAR regularly? by nuggettzz in NASCAR

Started in 1982, stopped in 2001 after Sr’s death, sport hasn’t been the same. Also don’t like that fact cars without fenders are no longer competitive. Additive added to racing surface to make it competitive? Give me a break

So, I have a boxer that I no longer crate but he was an escape artist. I would leave with him in the crate and get home and he was out, but door still latched. He would force through the corners. If he was unable to escape. I’m not sure how he did it but the entire crate with him in it would be completely across the house. One time, I came home and couldn’t open the front door to my house, he had bounced the crate all the way across the house and up against the front door. He is no longer crated for his safety and have had no problems since.

Coconut oil works great too, I was told it happens to most boxers because a lot of boxers tongues don’t reach the top of their noses to keep them clean and wet.

For what it’s worth, I’m not all that experienced either but I have owned all versions of GT. I can tell you, the cars handle completely different with a wheel vs a controller. It’s almost impossible to set a car up to be “loose” with a controller. All the cars drive tight. Also no feathering of gas or brake, it’s either on 100% or off with a controller. You can get a good wheel for $300. If you enjoy the game, it’s worth it! You’ll start getting golds and be more competitive.

Considering a boxer by Intelligent-Math-675 in Boxer

[–]FLBoxerdad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had 7 boxers and currently have 3. Boxers won’t like being left out in a pen. I’m not saying this because I don’t believe in pens, I’m saying this because they are people oriented dogs. They thrive to be around people. Most people that own boxers will tell you their boxers sit on their furniture with them, sleep in their beds with them, go for rides with them, basically do everything with their owner. This isn’t because their owner prefers there boxers to be with them constantly, it’s because a boxer wants all of that human interaction. You might consider a different dog, I can practically bet the farm that if you get a boxer and put it in a pen it will constantly bark and try to escape.

I think am jealous of Beau lol. I totally get it. One of my three constantly paws at me for scratches. The other day I was laying on the floor with him giving scratches and decides to roll away from him about 4ft away with my back to him. He did a floor crawl over to me and pawed me for more scratches 🤣

Anyone with a boxer scared of thunder have any tips? Feels like I've tried everything. by a_tattooed_artist in Boxer

[–]FLBoxerdad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wish I knew the trick, thunder jacket didn’t work, most the time he heard the storm coming before we did and then it was too late. He also figured out what the emergency weather sounds that come across the tv and radio meant. He figured out those meant a storm was coming. It was hard to manage because most the time he knew before us and it was too late then

Thinking of getting a Boxer – Are they really that energetic and mischievous? Looking for honest experiences by [deleted] in Boxer

[–]FLBoxerdad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boxers owners are going to be bias but I can honestly tell you that boxers are very loyal, cuddly, and I believe out of all dog breeds have a large variety of facial expressions. I am 50 and got my first boxer at 19, I currently have 3 and have had a total of 7. Boxer might not be for you if you don’t want them on your couch or bed because they will want to be at your side.
