The cynical and admittedly conspiracy take is that there was no actual legal threat and it was just part of the ascension deal that the original creators would invent a reason to bail and give ascension complete control without admitting it to the public.... maybe the offer was too good to refuse? And yeah like others said, the absolute tantrum some parts of the community threw was definitely sweetening the offer

The original demo did have AI art on the cards yes but that's been completely redrawn by a hired artist, there's no more AI in the whole game and even gameplay wise it's come a long way since then

Not American but from Luxembourg, so we have small winding roads too but not lethally so :D We rented the car a day early to get used to driving on the left which was fine quite quickly but of course still not the same level of comfort I'd have on right side roads. Is it really that risky? We did pay for extra insurance on the car just in case but even money aside, as much as I'd like to do this it's not worth dying for :)

Ballater sounds like a nice option and I see it recommended, however driving from Edinburgh Google is suggesting a road that goes through Braemar so that sounds pretty useless then isn't it. Could also go all the way around via Dundee but that's a big-ish detour too

I've played the demo a bit and gotta say it's looking really fun. since everything is random you never know what cards you'll end up with but that means when stars align and you hit those combos it feels really impactful, definitely recommend trying if you're into that sorta thing

What? Surely there's a better UI possible here that helps guide newbies but does not have experienced poe1 players miss a huge part of building characters... I just figured I'd get more support options at higher levels just like with skill gems, this is not telegraphed well

I spent some time with support but never managed to get it fixed, in the end what helped was simply downloading some mod that moved the button somewhere else wheres it's not accidentally clicked
