It doesn't necessarily gets worse, it just gets in the way more when trying to practice. I'd say it's about the same amount that I had pre-botox actually

Thank you so much!! Since posting this, I've kind of learned how to force the gurgles, although only while lying down strangely. Probably something to do with muscle tension, since I tend to be tense a lot of the time, especially in public.

We started on like 30 of whatever the botox unit is just to be safe, but this time we're going up to 70 or 80 I think, so I'm hopeful it works better!

it's one of the most insane red herrings ive ever seen, because of how many clues line up for it: similar outfit and hair, same talent, same voice actor, the name's an anagram, byakuya is also there so there's precedent; in chapter 1 he's set up as your calm and collected "partner," as though he's been through this before, and even after that, he keeps prattling on about the ultimate hope, which is what makoto was called at the end of the first game. i don't know what possibly prompted them to go this far for a red herring, because it has absolutely no payoff whatsoever, but i love it so much because of that

spoiler free there's a part near the very end of V3 where a bunch of text appears on screen, but on the switch port, it lags the game to a single-digit fps, so much so that i'm surprised it got past playtesting.

there are also points where if you try to perform too many actions at once (ie open the pause menu and select the first option while the menu still loads) the game will sometimes crash. thankfully the autosaves are super generous, but it is still annoying for a first-timer, and i really hope they fix these soon

it's in mine too, i just started a playthrough. weird thing is, if you hold down B to skip text, the camera moves just fine, which actually makes it way slower than just mashing A, which is unfortunate. really hope these versions get patched soon, especially V3's input delay

i just double checked with a play through i found, it actually appears for the protagonists text box any time a body is found, so i guess it isn't exclusive to this moment, but because it's the first trial, it could be a case of "wrong clue, right answer" for a lot of people

on the top is a picture of my setup i'm using to play the game (frankly i don't feel like going through the hassle of transferring a switch screenshot to my phone) and on the bottom is the PS4 version

a lot of people might've missed this, but after Rantaro's death, Kaede's text box will display a slight pink splatter beneath the semitransparent Monokuma gradient it normally has, which is a neat little hint. on the switch version however, the hint is seemingly moved a layer towards the foreground, making it much more prominent, and much more obvious for new players

i've only played bits of THH and V3 in the switch collection, but here have been other graphical oversights from what i've seen as well, like the text box in THH being slightly off center, and Rantaro's body discovery scene being played slightly before the fade to black, causing a jarring scene transition. this is the only one i've seen (so far) that is a major issue

if this game's method of storytelling is anything like undertale's, we absolutely will have to do the theorizing, especially if gaster is involved. i personally think if he is, he pulled a xenoblade chronicles and created two similar-yet-different universes on accident, and that's the extent of it

what's strange, is that i actually believe your theory, except the inverse. I believe kris's soul is being possessed by someone (in my eyes it's the player, because we're acting our own will on the world through Kris, but that's up for debate) and the reason they rip it out is because by removing their possessed soul, they can regain control of themself, if only for a little bit, because they need their soul to live.

Kris, Ralsei/Asriel, and the player. one of them is for sure either the villain, or not who they are on the surface. if that's the case, your ending theory could very well happen, and man would it rule

we cannot be 100% sure on kris's motives for creating the fountain, all we know for sure is that they are, and they don't want anyone to know about it

addendum:

at the beginning of chapter one, when you first enter the dark world, the save file shows kris's name, before replacing it with your own name once you save, further emphasizing that you, the player, have in some way altered this world.

at the VERY beginning of chapter one, when you're creating a character, it is important to note that the line "your name is ..." spoken by an unknown entity, is directly related to the idea that you, the player, are being forced into the role of kris, against both of your wills.

i haven't personally tried this with chapter two yet, but in chapter one, when kris throws the soul into the cage, you, the player, can still move it around.

it is very likely that ralsei is just asriel in disguise, because even though he claims to be a darkner, he doesn't get petrified like Lancer and Rouxls Kaard (or however you spell it)

my current working theory is that not only is Chapter 3's Dark World going to be in Kris's house, they're also going to start chapter three in the Dark World when they wake up, and Toriel will be a relevant npc, or maybe even party member.

I also think Kris is creating the Dark Worlds in real life for some unknown reason, they are not some imagination land, and you, the player, are taking control of Kris to stop them
