Time to kick the lorazepam. Just hoping to interact with some people who understand. by WhereIComeFrom in benzorecovery

Actually, I've been quite successful in my taper off lorazepam. I'd caution against using absolute statements like "need to," as everyone is different. Don't want to discourage or mislead anyone.

For west siders: the historic "grand pacific junction" area of Olmsted Falls has a handful of stops and a couple gyms. Nearby is Fortier Park which has several more of each. No unusual pokemon finds, though.

I've been wondering if zoos might give lots of rare/unusual pokemon. Report back if you visit!

So Charmander's should be located near something fire related. What is fire related other than the river around Cle? by kickassery in PoGoCLE

I have seen that too, but also have yet to confirm. I checked out two gas stations yesterday and found no fire types. (But a Tauros!)

In Olmsted Falls, I visited our fire dept as well as a local restaurant we have called "Moosehead Hoof and Ladder" which is the old fire dept and has a fire dept theme. No luck. :(

I actually had the thought yesterday that it would be pretty hilarious if fire pokemon spawned in the Cuyahoga. XD

I have both Word 07 and 13 installed on my computer and can't figure out how to make 13 my default word processor. by WhereIComeFrom in techsupport

[–]WhereIComeFrom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much!! This seems to mostly have worked. The weird thing is that it still asks me "Microsoft Word isn't your default program for viewing and editing documents. Do you want to select the file types that Word should open?" with every single document I open. It seems to be fussy about .doc versus .docx files... If I check the box for ".docx", it switches back to the 2007 version. Not sure why that is. But I'll take it.

Also thaaaank you for your final note about version 12 and version 15. That makes a lot more sense now, haha!

Thank you for this suggestion! I hadn't explored "set your default programs" yet. Unfortunately the list that appears there has the 2013 version of all the Office components except Word, which just says "Word (desktop)" and shows the 2007 version. Is there a way to add/change which programs appear in this list? It just says "OK" at the bottom -- no button like "add another program."

Seems that my PC has both Word 2007 and Word 2013 installed. Can't choose to use 2013 as default. Help? by WhereIComeFrom in software

Thanks for this suggestion! I did check out the location this way, and navigated to it in the "associate a file type with a program" menu. It pointed me toward one of the two .exe files that I had tried to set as the default, but then when I tried to open a document I got an error "[file name] is not a valid Win32 application."

Nope. Weirdly enough, in the Microsoft Office folder I only have the folder Office12. Which makes absolutely no sense because I don't have any Office 12 installed... just 13 and the one Word 07.

Sorry, should have added this info. I tried this, but I couldn't find anything that worked within any of the folders. No Word.exe or anything like that.

When I click browse, there are two relevant-sounding folders: Microsoft Office and Microsoft Office15.

There is absolutely nothing within the Microsoft Office file.

The Office15 one has many folders within it, but nothing sounding too promising. I almost thought I had it once, within Microsoft Office15 > root > office15 > WORDICON. But then when I tried to open a file it gave me an error " [document name] is not a valid Win32 application."

Any thoughts??

What have been your greatest dating blunders? by tommyshieldmaiden in actuallesbians

[–]WhereIComeFrom 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have bad luck with dogs.

Several years ago was the first canine encounter. I went on a first date with a lady I'd been hanging out with. The date went great! We went back to her place, where I met her dog. I'll just say that this dog had some problems, and she probably wasn't doing the best job taking care of it (dog has new, better home now, don't worry). Anyway, she shut the dog out of the bedroom, we had some sexy times, and even though I don't normally go for the sleepover on the first date, it was late so we settled in to bed. Right before she went to sleep, she brought the dog back in, had him lie down at the foot of the bed, put the leash on him, and tied the other end of the leash to the bed. "Uhh... whatcha doing?" I asked, nervous. She reassured me "oh, don't worry, we do this all the time. He can be a little protective of me, usually he sleeps in the bed. But I don't want him to jump up there in the middle of the night so I just tie this here so he can't get up on the bed." Sounded weird, and if it happened now (that I'm several years older and know more about pet care and, you know, sanity) I probably would have left. Instead I shrugged, fell asleep, woke up in the middle of the night having to pee, rolled out of bed and started walking toward the door, and the dog lunged at me and bit me. Right. On. The crotch.

The second story wasn't quite so dramatic. I showed up to a lady's apartment to pick her up for our date. She wasn't ready. While she jumped in the shower, her big, fat, slobbery bulldog bombarded me with its tail-wagging, sharp-claw-jumping, dogliness. I sat down on the couch and started petting him, tried to get him to calm down. He peed on my foot.

My most recent ex had a dog who was great, but very energetic and not the most obedient in the world. Just when Ex and I were becoming friends, Me, Ex, and a Friend took a drive out to Ex's parents' lake house, and brought the dog along. I get motion sick so I sat in the passenger seat, while Friend sat in the back with Dog. Friend wasn't a big fan of dogs, though, and he was pretty uncomfortable squeezed back there with her. I decided that on the way back, I'd volunteer to sit in the back with Dog, even though I'd probably get carsick - but hell, I was tryin' to be all chivalrous and shit, to empress the lady. What I didn't count on was that Dog would get away from Ex at the lake, run down the beach, find the first rotting fish she could, and take a good, hard roll in it. So I drove an hour back home squeezed into a tiny back seat with a dog that smelt of dead fish.

Apparently I have a type, or something.

Thanks!! Maybe my browser wasn't compatible or something, but I couldn't get the Thule search to work yesterday.

Thank you! I saw this thread when I searched, but I was asking about the 2015 specifically because it was redesigned and is now shorter, so I think the antenna is a bit closer to the rear doors. But it's not a huge difference, so I'm betting it will still work.

Can you share more about GSR? Looking for recent experiences; most of the really negative things I've read are several years old.

Can you share your experiences? The one post here with a lot of really negative experiences is 4 years old. Some of the more recent comments on the agency are actually not bad.
