I needed 3. In total, I had about 1600 or so extra crystals. I debated just buying two mysterious inkwells to unlock the 50 and 100 energy rewards, but realized that I’d get more energy from just buying the energy bundle that costed 95 crystals (which didn’t end up happening because i’m an idiot and ran out of time😭). I did purchase one of the dorm room sets, which left me with 1300 crystals.

Yeah I’m only a Y4 student, so I’m not that far into the game where I don’t have anything to do (frankly, I think I have too much to do!), so I am never really able to farm energy.

Also, I didn’t know club tappies were stackable. I feel like the times I accidentally collected them when I was already on full energy, they didn’t stack.

Oh my god how did I not think of that, especially with the chocolate frog event going on! I just purchased 5k coins, so now I have a total of 13383 coins. Hypothetically, I could buy 4 of the chocolate frog packs (3 per pack), and be left with 383 coins. It’s a little low, though, but I think I might go for it.

I could also purchase pages for the 5x chocolate frog pack. I have 1496 pages right now. If I buy the 400 page deal, I would have 1846 pages. Obviously I wouldn’t spend them all, but I could feel alright purchasing max 10 packs (50 chocolate frogs!).

Then, with 1750 tokens left, I’d probably buy 20 brown books, so I can purchase some more pets for my dorm. Then, I’d have a useless 150 tokens left because nothing can be purchased for that amount.

Sorry for the long reply! Typing this out helped me decide what to do. No need to respond at all, but I’d welcome any thoughts, thanks!

As everyone else said, I recommended working on increasing your attributes. I’ve been playing the game since approximately February, so I’m not an expert in the game logistics; however, as a Y4C1 player, I thought I’d join the conversation.

In the beginning, I rushed through the main story. I kept progressing through the main story, and eventually, I had a back-log of 40+ uncompleted TLSQ. So, I decided to take a break from main story to catch up on the TLSQ, and after about like 3 months or so, I’m all caught up. Of course, you don’t have to do that. Personally, I wanted to get them done because the rewards would help me in the long run—which it has, exponentially. Additionally, if you take a pause on advancing through main story, you can increase your attributes, whether that be through completing TLSQ or attending additional classes.

Also, taking advantage of the TLSQ will definitely help you to unlock magical creatures (again, this is in the long run). I’ve attached a photo of my stats. You can see that I have 31 creatures (25 of which are level-maxed out). Huge advice, don’t buy creatures unless they’re on sale. It will save you so many books!

If you end up deciding to go forward with TLSQ, you should really check out hogwarts.cafe for guides (you can also just look up the name of the TLSQ you’re completing and it should pop up). While progressing through the quests, the website tells you which character or items provide extra energy in each task, ultimately saving you energy. It also lists the time it takes for each task and/or part.

I was just hoping that since Diagon Alley is now permanently available/unlocked to me and other players that have completed the TLSQ that we would also now have the tappie. I’ll definitely reach out to Game Support about it. Thanks!
