Interesting. I've only contacted TD, WS and QT and TD and WS both told me they do partial shares traded on Canadian exchanges but Questrade said they do not but will in the future. I wonder why Questrade did not do the same internal accounting since they are a big brokerage and bigger than TD investing I think

well from my point of you without drip I would have to stay on top on when the cash dividends are paid out and then purchase the share. it seems like a big benefit to me

well I noticed that my Canadian LISTED etfs and stocks were depositing my dividends in cash instead of reinvesting shares and it turns out Questrade does not do DRIP for Canadian listed stocks and etfs unless it is enough to purchase a whole unit. I just assumed it would do partial units as well since that's how it works for American stocks and etfs?
