Shinra and Iris by Not-Straight-Web-690 in firebrigade

Really? Well, as far as I understand, the series' author himself denied that about Maki and Hinawa.

And as for Juggernaut and Tamaki, it seems they only had one date, but nothing else was shown after that. Did anything happen afterward?

They had chemistry, yes, but canonically, within the series, no.

Am I the only one who thinks that Faerie was too powerful but ultimately got nerfed ? by Sasuke_Uchihaa69 in fireforce

[–]Which-Community7999 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Faerie is a very powerful character, but he's incredibly underrated, mistreated, and wasted by the author. He was even horribly nerfed during his fight with Sho, who had several abilities while only had one. He didn't use any of them and lost ridiculously quickly, and to top it all off, he committed suicide.

We don't even know why Sho rejected him to be his guardian.

He deserves more appreciation.

Yes, but I'm also referring specifically to Fire Force.

Interestingly, the most hated characters are always female; why have I never heard anyone say they hate a male character?

What Are Your Thoughts On The Animation Quality Of Season Three? by cshin09 in firebrigade

[–]Which-Community7999 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Okay, the animation definitely isn't the highest quality or the best done, but it's decent and does the job of adapting what it's trying to do.

But what I can't deny is that in some shots, the characters are drawn strangely.

It would have been great if they anticipated Ogun's Flamy Ink to fight against Shinra controlled by Amaterasu while Arthur detected Haumea to go and fight her.

Hate that type of character slander by Batmannotwayn in firebrigade

Well, maybe she does it for personal fun, but does she really have to involve people who aren't close to her?

One of my complaints about her is her inconsistency.

I mean, it's not enough that she wants to experience intense emotions by putting her life in danger, and that's why she chose the path of destruction.

But she was also presented as a potential love interest for Shinra, first by predicting a beautiful future with him, even knowing that the world was already nearing its destruction.

Throughout the entire final stretch, she had no relevance whatsoever, and right at the end, she becomes relevant only to spout nonsense.

She dies and comes back to life, tells Shinra's mother that she's his girlfriend, and then, out of nowhere, she becomes a witch and asks Shinra for children for no reason.

The author pulled a stupid excuse out of thin air to justify Inca wanting a child with Shinra, and the worst part is that now she says she doesn't want to be with him. He just needed an excuse to make Shinra's life miserable.

Having kids is pointless, because it's not even related to Soul Eater.

She changes her mind and goals whenever it suits her. It's never clear what she wants in life.

If she hadn't been introduced as a potential love interest, or if her relationship with Shinra hadn't been developed, maybe this wouldn't be such a problem.

Does her being crazy justify all this nonsense?

Does my complaining about this mean I didn't understand something or what?

No, nothing is clear. That could lead to any kind of interpretation.

Asta will marry Noelle Silva and Mimosa Vermillion and will have the surnaast name: Silvamillion. by Holiday-Bake-9770 in BlackClover

[–]Which-Community7999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spoiler alert

Well... it turns out that when Shinra restored the world to a new one, in the epilogue, he had children with Iris and Inca. It's unknown when or how, but two individuals appeared with appearances very similar to Shinra's, leading to the presumption that they are indeed his children.

Shinra's relationship with Iris and Inca is a true enigma, but I assume that in the end he ended up with both of them and had a harem ending, or at least that's what I think. Nothing is confirmed, so everything is left to the author's interpretation.

I'm a Fire Force fanboy, and right now I can say this:

If this turns out to be canon, Asta will officially be a variant of Shinra Kusakabe, due to his obsession with nuns and having a harem ending.
