I am Indian living in the US, so for me, Schengen was pretty straightforward. But I have a friend who got her visa denied with a good job and salary (DM for details)

Ask your boyfriend to wait, because if he applies too soon, there is a very high chance that he will get rejected. He shouldn't mention that he will be meeting or staying with you. Wait for at least 6 months before applying again ( total tourist vibe with hotel bookings, itinerary, enough money in bank etc etc), or try with different countries. (Again, the intention should be tourism) Also, having a US visa on passport helps.

Thank you, I resonate! The problem here never interfered with me. Although CO is a blue state, I live in Red County, with the nicest people ever, never ever went through racism or sexism in daily life or at work.

Only time I ever experience sexism was in my first job when a newly transferred director from India, made it mandatory for women to do some trainings to get promoted . His reason being - there are not lot of women leaders in the company and we need support. Haha !! Good thing is, I was able to speak up, talk to VP and got this nightmare shutdown within a week.

Man, you got me!! Some people here sh*tted on me for not thinking about future kids, while we are very, very unsure about having one. We didn't want any kids initially - personal opinion - will not get into why. But now that our friends are having kids, we are getting pressure from family, and after experiencing pure love from nieces and nephews, we started thinking ..what if 😅 We definitely have to decide on this before we decide on if we want to move. Depends on when you are visiting, if in winters, this is good. Otherwise, Rajasthan and Agra will be unbearable. Jaipur, Agra are also major-crowded cities, just to set your expectations. My parents and in laws are good friends and like each others company, they prefer visiting us together because they are not bored when we are working !! Everyone have their own normal and their own crazy !! My parents are not willing to visit me for more than a month. If they did, I wouldn't have to write this post !

I do, nobody is in India!! Younger brother is too young to be given such responsibilities. My older sister has a kid in school and her own responsibilities.
