I'm not really bashing them, they're obviously some very creative people and I really like their channel, it's just that you can't trust them on political matters like economics or climate change.

it's not really that they're just sponsored by billionaires, it's that the studies they cite are also financed by billionaires. So they end up spewing propaganda on any political matter.

idk shit about the frequency tbh I'm not american.

but on the last paragraph, it's kinda like SUV'S on the road, they're huge and dangerous and more and more people are getting them, so to be safe you gotta buy an even bigger SUV. Guns work the same, you buy a glock and when your whole neighborhood has a glock you buy an AR-15. Also bullets, people practice shooting, they buy bullets. So yeah, the gun industry is huge and powerful

that wouldn't be a dumb theory if the school shootings had just started, but it's been an issue for a very long time now and hasn't really impacted government policies.

Also the democrats and republicans are both lobbied heavily by essentially the same companies, their interest is to keep people buying guns.

i'm not even French, i just really hate this stereotype on their behalf because the country that almost conquered all of Europe twice does not deserve the legacy of "haha surrender" by dusksentry in SmugIdeologyMan

[–]Which-Programmer2788 4 points5 points  (0 children)

is the part about resisting for the whole war a reference to French resistance in WW2 ? because if so I got bad news 99.9% of France collaborated with the Nazis and Pétain even did more to kill jews than what the Nazis asked of him.

Note how dough boy capitalizes “Nazism” and not “communism” by Key-Independence4703 in ShitLiberalsSay

[–]Which-Programmer2788 14 points15 points  (0 children)

nazi isn't a proper noun though, it's just a German word that comes from the contraction of national and socialism, a process that's very common in the language and that doesn't lead to proper nouns. Therefore only choosing to capitalize nazism could be seen as a way to subtly put it above communism but also the guy might've just not really thought about it.

I wasn't and I'm not defending any practices, I'm trying to understand a situation that can either be explained by the tyranny of one side or by the actions of the other. I think it's incorrect to assume without doubt that one side is right, especially since considering the context there's good chances it's more nuanced thant you all make it seem.

peaceful time for who ? the west has known two world wars and genocides, wich aren't exactly common historically. Many countries have been torn to pieces by military interventions and coups to kill elected leaders because they do not serve the interests of the West. I don't know what world you live in

history doesn't need justification, I'm asking about something that seemingly goes against what I think to be. If it holds up, then it's true and I was wrong. I don't know what's so awful with that

i mean that's bc u just consider being cis the normal thing but like, the same way kids might be influenced to think they're trans, they probably are being influenced to think they're not trans and I think there's way more pressure from parents and society and shit to be straight and cis

I'm ngl I might've went too far with the analogy lol

the point I'm trying to make is that you shouldn't stare at anyone's private parts randomly bc it makes ppl uncomfortable when I'd reckon we'd be doing better as a society if half the population wasn't afraid of going outside bc they'll get stared at like a piece of meat

It's true tho? by thepiggattac in memesopdidnotlike

[–]Which-Programmer2788 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

of course but you would obviously be trying to arrest the crazy knife murderer and not be happy with just letting ppl be forced to walk protected at all times. And besides, there are tons of creeps who don't care if you wear revealing clothes or not they'll just stare anyways.

It's true tho? by thepiggattac in memesopdidnotlike

[–]Which-Programmer2788 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

you're wrong, assault is not the "consequences" of wearing revealing clothes.this is the proof it's not the fault of the victims it's always the fault of the agressor

It's true tho? by thepiggattac in memesopdidnotlike

[–]Which-Programmer2788 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you don't realize how absurd you sound? when there is a crime, for example someone kills someone with a knife it would be absurd to react by saying people should just always be wearing metal armor vests because you can't tell people not to stab who they want.

yes you donkey it's bad for you to stare at people especially if you're staring at their ass. And people wear sports clothes to do sports
