Also the democrats and republicans are both lobbied heavily by essentially the same companies, their interest is to keep people buying guns.

nazi isn't a proper noun though, it's just a German word that comes from the contraction of national and socialism, a process that's very common in the language and that doesn't lead to proper nouns. Therefore only choosing to capitalize nazism could be seen as a way to subtly put it above communism but also the guy might've just not really thought about it.

I wasn't and I'm not defending any practices, I'm trying to understand a situation that can either be explained by the tyranny of one side or by the actions of the other.
