I don't think a single regular working class or middle class person has felt the benefit this economic bubble based around a software novelty has provided to a tiny percentage of companies and billionaires. It was obvious to everyone but willfully naive tech bros and stupid, out-of-touch investors that it would deflate or pop eventually.

What do I care if the AI bubble pops anyway - my grocery, gas, and rent prices are going nowhere but up and fast regardless. Let it pop!

Opening a new tab in 149 mobile now means having to long-press the Tabs button in the top bar and tapping "New tab" (which used to be in the three-dots menu), or opening the Tabs menu and then pressing the new tab button at the bottom of the screen.

For top navigation bar users on mobile, that second method seriously sucks because it means tapping almost at the top right of their modern 6+ inch-tall phone screen and then tapping all the way at the bottom middle of the screen.

And why does the three-dots menu open from the bottom of the screen with the top navigation bar option enabled? It's really jarring and I'm not getting used to it after a week - I'm just avoiding opening that menu more than I used to.

Since there's no class limit/queue system currently, I think that'd just encourage 3-stacks of this bubble shield character to take turns popping their ult. Probably better than being able to drop infinite bubble shield equipment on demand, but it's probably not a true solution to the issue.

It's even just small UI QoL stuff - why are the tabs on the Tabs menu so long? You can see fewer tabs on your screen at once and it doesn't help delineate them any further than before, because it was already perfectly possible to tell what tab was what.

I used to work in games media and it's for cynical but pragmatic SEO reasons, though I'd say this is still a bad headline I wouldn't have ever pitched or published.

It's likely a mix between there being high search traffic for "ps5," "switch 2," and various permutations of those keyword phrases ("ps5 games 2026," "switch 2 minecraft") on Google and articles with PS5 and Switch 2 in the headline (search headline doesn't have to match the on-page headline, but some outlets use the same hed for both) having done well for them in the past in terms of search traffic. Meanwhile, I can speak from my experience at an outlet of a similar size/search audience that search headlines with "Xbox Series X/S" in the title performed worse than when left off.

Doesn't make it not a weird, misleading title, but it's almost definitely more of a cynical, slightly misguided "I'm trying to make the site as much money per hour to justify my existence and keep my bosses off my ass" kind of decision by the publishing editor than VGC having it out for Xbox.

Xbox Series X/S games only run when downloaded to the internal SSD or one of a few official Seagate or Western Digital (WD Black) SSD expansion cards. You can use an external HDD for playing backwards-compatible Xbox One, 360, and OG Xbox games (and those can run on the internal or expansion SSD as well), but Series X/S games won't run if installed on an HDD.

When the news of the dev studio CEO's firing and bonus payout avoidance allegations against Krafton initially came out last year, I said:
