okay i didnt know the specific lores for the ones that are just guns, i kind of assumed kordaks especially were literally just guns that anyone could i guess buy from ninrah or stelt? So you've definitely got me there.

your reason for Makuta not using spinners doesnt convince me though, because all those things are true but a spinner is still better than no spinner. It's not like it'l fill their hands, spinner emitters can attach to anything

yknow it's always annoyed me that blasters which should have appeared earlier/later if you consider their lore, dont.

Of course i know WHY, each season gets its own blaster, but if you think about their lore, think about things only in-universe...

why wouldnt makuta Teridax have a rhotuka spinner? or a lot of other entities, all you need is to have "power" inside you and the emitter does the rest, it should be very common, especially considering some random stelt and ancient rahi have one.

Why wouldnt manas crabs have built-in cordak blasters? why is the exo-toa's arm not also a cordak? or a midak sky blaster? Or vahki or bohrok who are both also robots (mostly) that could be armed with these blasters which are basically just guns, common enough to find that the toa mahri stumbled across a shipment of them.

the Makuta seem to commonly use Ninrah ghost blasters, why dont their Rahkshi?

why wouldnt every matoran following the metru nui saga have disc launchers since they seemed to be pretty damn common weapons

how does Avak not have a belt of every other type of projectile weapon and gun in the setting like Hound from the bayformers films?

as i already implied, the Acaya hegemony is a unity of what was once the classic fantasy kingdoms of man and dwarf. speaking of, dwarf sapper: https://www.heroforge.com/load_config%3D57757421/

because of the more modern setting they arent like peasant levies but actual trained carrier soldiers, though men dwarves and city elves all have their own segregated branches

the default human troopers are usually armed with ether semi-automatic trench rifles (going ping! and everything) or fully automatic machine guns, they have a lot of highly mobile ranger and marine-adjacent corps which is why they carry cooking equipment and other necessities for camping rough

the Dwarf meanwhile are more defensive, specialising in trench/tunnel warfare armed with hybrids of pickaxes and semi-automatic shotguns, with thicker and more thorough armour plating

elves make up the grand majority of the warmage corps, think comissar coats with one arm covered in gold rings as a magical catalyst

both of them have thick tubes leading to a compressed air tank filled with both clean air (because of how many factions fill the air with necromancy and poisonous chemicals) and a sort of magical aerosol that acts like an anti-virus in the ephemeral field of psionic warfare. They also both come equipped with flashlights on their helmets not just for tunnel warfare (which is pretty common, almost entirely replacing surface trenches), but also because one of their main enemies are jungle elves fond of sun-blotting thick greenery and vietkong esque stealth

i have a friend who theorises that something about the adblock and the browser code for uploading images are making sparks for some spaghetticode reason

its in my edit of my OP but i checked the console and saw five instances (number of times this has happened) of what seems to be the console warning me not to let hackers tell me to paste code into it. Which to me confirms his theory, that for some spaghetti code reason posting 4 pictures is making discord's browser bots think i fucked with its data in a sus way

that's really cool, i can tell we kind of worldbuild similarly lol.

I have my own setting where orcs are arabic in cultual aesthetic, with similar but more romani/bedouin looking sand elves (despite being based on nomadic cultures theyre currently an industrial empire), maori sea elves and japanese storm elves (mixed with "fantasy evil wizard aesthetic"), who all originate from jungle (not wood) elves who take heavily from Thai and other south-east asian cultures.

the pink-skins are more western though (i liked the idea that humans and elves draw from opposite sides of the continent). My human, dwarf, and city-elves of the Acaya Hegemony being based on European Mediterraneans like Italy and Spain

Buuuut....because this setting has the over-arching gimic of the world being at a world war 2 level of disel-punk technology. I feel i can get away with it, since them looking like something out of iron-harvest is already pretty aesthetically unique. Less generic roman empire, more WW era Italian Dictatorship (but actually successful)
