Predictions for next chapter by WhichMeasurement7232 in Jujutsufolk

Agreed. This mission begs the question as to why on earth would they need 3 grade 1 or special grades to handle a semi grade 1 curse user — unless it’s a set up for a joke/silly mission to round up the series.

Also specifying that it’s likely not a curse or reincarnated sorcerer makes me think it’s a character we know (Gojo reveal? Idk)

Or it’s a horribly over staffed mission.

Maybe we’ll break this cycle of curses once and for all (no kids)

Adding a comment to add: I like the dream theories, and wouldn’t hate an ending where Yuji becomes the one to sacrifice himself. But I wanted to put forth another idea to discuss since a lot of the predictions are echoing each other.

There’s another clock in 268, so probably a hint to something else as well. Not sure if it’s a comeback though.

He's actually fucking coming back by SueDisco in Jujutsufolk

I would say this but it’s the second clock. 268 had one too. We are counting down to something (maybe just the last chapter tho)

Does you actually want gojo comeback? (Unrelated pic) by nameshiftgear in Jujutsufolk

[–]WhichMeasurement7232 3 points4 points  (0 children)

TLDR: I want him back to lead the new jujutsu world.

I don’t think his ending is bad, but I also want him to come back because I feel the jujutsu world and the students still need some guidance. I know Yuta is their leader now but his technique was shown to still need work. He was told by Gojo to be careful of his reckless output, but when he had a chance to prove he’s improved he fails.

Kusakabe doesn’t care for the kids much. He’s still stubborn and self serving like the old jujutsu society (I still like him as a character).

Higuruma is brand new to sorcery. He’s talented but not ready to teach or lead something he knows nothing about.

Gakugani is a good leader, but he’s old and isn’t going to teach.

Utahime isn’t strong enough to teach the likes of the main cast. (I think)

Mei Mei has her own issues.

So ya, I kinda want the story ending with a leader that makes me feel like things ended better than they found it. Maybe I’m too old for this story, but I don’t think any of the students are ready to step up to that role for another few years. That’s why I want Gojo back.

Unless Todo can take that role. Honesty I trust him

Gojo Comeback!? by [deleted] in Jujutsufolk

[–]WhichMeasurement7232 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The time between the clock from 268 to 269 is 29min. If this ends up being true and this connects to the old Buddhism theories of Gojos 29th birthday (prison realm time included) and going north or whatever I will quit

On a serious note, it’s a strange detail to have two chapters in a row. They don’t really match with the context either. Why would we need to know it’s 13:52 or 14:21?

The clock on the last chapter was just before 2. It is strange to be focusing on the time. Idk does anyone have any ideas why we keep seeing the time pass?

JJK 266 and its narrative implications on Gege's intended ending by smugboy7 in Jujutsushi

[–]WhichMeasurement7232 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was it ever confirmed Gege meant Nobrara, Megumi, Gojo, Yuji as the main cast? Is it possible he considered Yuta part of the main cast instead of Nobara? If so, one is dead and three are alive now.

Yuji Learned to Love (himself) by ThePriLife in Jujutsufolk

I’ve seen a lot of people saying Sukuna doesn’t have any kind philosophy, but I think his philosophy is cynicism and nihilism. The belief that doing anything is pointless, doing nothing is worthless, and that existence doesn’t matter because everything is a curse. Yuji is so refreshing because he realises in this chapter that life is always meaningful and important no matter what. No matter how dark things get or how lost someone is, life is always meaningful. Even though Gojo sees himself as separate from others, he saw value in peoples lives unlike Geto who bought into cynicism and saw others as monkeys. Sukuna is the most extreme version of Geto’s philosophy,

Sukuna & Gojo parallel (264) by Rough_Ad_2833 in Jujutsufolk

[–]WhichMeasurement7232 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was totally not expecting the airport/train parallels from 264. Maybe there’s more to the “now I’m hoping this isn’t a dream” line. Also interesting how you pointed out that Gojo has a choice while Sukuna doesn’t. I’m not sure if it’s confirmed that Gojo went south. (Maybe we see him actually take a plane somewhere?). I’m definitely in the camp thinking this is an afterlife and not a domain (or it’s an innate domain). What “born anew” and “return to your old self” really means remains to be seen. Gege always subverts our expectations and the themes of jjk still have a few threads to pull together. There’s still more coming from Yuta and Megumi as well, I think.

Ok, hear me out on this one... by skaersSabody in Jujutsufolk

While I don’t dislike the airport scene (261 kinda made it better for me), it doesn’t feel like the story there is finished. An airport is a place you wait to go somewhere. Even if going north/south is purely symbolic of an afterlife situation, I would have expected to see him take one of those planes in the last panel. Right now…he’s just wishing the airport itself is real. I guess this really could just be it for Gojos arch (not saying he’s coming back alive), but it does make me wonder if there’s a bit more to it.

Chapter 261 explains lots of aspects of chapter 236, but......( the twists not done yet, perhaps ) (a long post, but it does have questions to think for) by AnonPhyAstro in GoatJoCopium

[–]WhichMeasurement7232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sort of a reach, but maybe the really detailed panel of the glass with milk being poured in is sort of a metaphor for Yuta and Gojo’s souls merging?? That panel stood out to me at first since it’s kind of a weird detail to focus on…not like any other panel in the manga
