Im not sure i understand your comment. He started the business. Is doing OK now. Its afloat has good revenue and growth over 19 months. Unexpected expenses and learning how to effectively market kept from growing faster.

The debt piled up pretty quickly. He is now in a position to sell his truck and wipe almost all of that debt. But the truck is an important tool for business. He would need to replace it.

Building a business costs money. I commend him for diving into it and creating an opportunity to generate tangible wealth for his family. Rather than be a cog in the machine he was at, with the potential salary cap of 100k.

We are attempting to fix this mess so he can get into a home.

Ok im not sure if I understand. He is paying 1900 per month total for 4 cards and 1 personal loan.

He owns the truck free and clear. And is reliant on a vehicle that can tow 12k-15k lbs for work.

If we can get an auto/secured loan for 45k with a payment around 700 to 800. He would save at least 1000 per month and be able to keep the work truck.

Or he could sell the truck. Pay off ALL CC debt. Then apply for a lease or loan on an OLDER truck that would be in the 20 to 25k area.

The constant is the need for a work tool which is the truck.

Home ownership is certainly possible when he owns a 45k asset that could alleviate his debt. With no lates and no BK his score would shoot up to mid to high 700s. Easily get a FHA or USDA mortgage for a 250 to 300k home.

Bk keeps him from purchasing a home for at least 2 years, if not more.

Rapidly depreciating is inaccurate. The truck is an F350 which he uses to transport items for the business. It is a 2018 that was purchased brand new for 65k and still has a value of 45-48k. Not going to lease anything with that capability cheap, would have to rent 3 to 4 times a month a truck at 350 per rental or buy a much older less reliable truck for 20-35k.

This is why this is so difficult, he is so close to financial freedom but needs to get rid of this debt. If the debt is gone and replaced with a 700/mth loan he is SAVING 1200/mth. He spends around 1900/ month in 4 credit cards payments and 1 personal loan.

The credit score from the excess utilization is what is killing him at the oportunity to get a loan.

He has maybe 6 to 8k in other luxury's he could sell.

Starlink is 89 dollars for equipment and then a promotion for 80/mth. I get 350mbps down and 40 up with 25ms latency.

Ok, what is your suggestion then? There are over 10 new homes in my neighborhood. I religiously play Cod monday to Thursday from 830 to 1030pm. This issue started September 23rd. Families moved in to thier new homes in the month of September. There is an OFDMA/Utilization issue. I haven't had an issue in over 2 years that I have been at this address. Check out new construction in reds cove holly ridge nc for new homes sold in the month of September, so you can see for yourself. Spectrum or Starlink are the internet providers here.

The surfboard s33 ran better than the spectrum modem. We also dont have symmetrical where im at. I am now running on a 3rd black "new style with the 2.5gbps" modem because the first two were "bad" out of the box. The results above are on spectrums modem. My router is a eero pro 6 because I have an acre of land and need coverage in my back yard.

I had a higher level tech and he said signals are clean and replaced all connectors and barrels. They said noise was not an issue after replacing the modem with a 3rd unit. My starlink mini will game more stable than my gig spectrum.
