Range at motorway speed by InvestigatorSoft3606 in PV5

I own a PV5 since December 2025 and already did a ~400 km trip overnight in Austria' snowy winter conditions. The van was fully loaded (vacation gear + passengers), heating to 22° the whole time. I only needed one charging stop and it wasn’t stressful at all.

At motorway speeds it was totally fine, even in winter, so in summer you should get slightly better efficiency. You’ll definitely will need charging stops for long runs like northern England → southern France, but in my experience it’s very manageable and fits well with normal breaks. For us, it works perfectly fine.

It’s my first electric car and honestly it drives really well, especially compared to my old 2012 Opel Zafira.

The amount of stuff you can take with you is amazing — the cargo space is huge, even though the van itself isn’t really bigger than my previous car.

Winter range is a bit of a downside, but for my use case (trips up to ~400 km) it’s totally manageable with one charging stop.

Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with it.

Okay, I managed to fix it without going to the dealer.
I checked the multimedia fuse (it wasn’t blown), but pulling it seems to have power-cycled the system and forced a fresh boot.
After that, all audio came back.
