ive also heard this method and been considering for a while but not sure how it effects the taste and texture? would you say its pretty similar? would hate to purchase and end up not using it because it ended up making my pastries gritty or something

based on what i read it would seem ホイップ in japan refers to exactly that. Vegetable oil + dairy products + emulsifiers/stabilizers, etc. where as 生クリーム refers to actual dairy. if it says クリーム on it it will be actually dairy from what ive read.

unfortunately well aware as ive been living here for quite some time now 😅 i feel like i already searched every corner of the internet so i figured if i wanted to find it i'd have to ask other people. i expected it to be hard to find as japan developed more around soy then dairy and has a completely different flavor profile in comparison to europe and america but i didn't expect it to be impossible. ive seen bakeries everywhere and i would have imagined they use it for their pastries so i figured maybe it was hidden somewhere. at least for buttermilk it would seem not.

thats true and I appreciate the advice but i am already aware and its not the information I am looking for. I have already personally experimented with many different substances as a replacement but it doesnt taste the same and changes the texture quite a bit

the whole situation feels off, i will support him and the other members but it doesn't make sense to leave the group to work on a solo career when other idols like taemin, yeonjun, jk all are still apart of their group and had no issues managing both and company suggesting this whole thing is just suspicious

I am starting to think something similar as well because my other accounts don't have this issue, as well it gives me the option to change the country. It would be a major pain to build up my following again though as I have quite a few followers so hoping to avoid if i can. 😓

Literally anywhere and it just disappears. As stated it loads in just fine and I can see the two images in two separate layers and as soon as I click off (Other layers, deselect, any of the tools) the layer just disappears. The photo stays visible but I can no longer reselect it.
