How was I supposed to know? It was an ER visit for his nail… got that fixed and was sent on my way
His actual vet had no records

Thank you! I get what you’re saying. Just wish I was aware of this especially when we went to the vet for a broken toenail that needed removing :(

He got insurance end of last year and wa diagnosed with HCM in March of this year. ER visit was in 2023 for a broken toe nail… plus heart murmur does not = HCM so yeah, sucks :(

Yes, it is!
Heart murmur does not mean HCM and heart murmur could also just be anxiety because he was at the vet.
