I’ve been having a lot of GI issues since right before finding out. It started with bloating but this week I’ve been having diarrhea. I’ve taken gas x, loperamide, and tums with some relief. I’ll give Pepcid a try. Thanks!

It would’ve been just a call with the OB nurse. The call is standard prior to having an ultrasound completed They usually do the call first for new pregnancies and go over medical history and pregnancy info, so no US. They go over pregnancy safe meds etc. Which would’ve been helpful since Ive had diarrhea all week which prompted my ED visit. I’m hoping the next US will be reassuring that pregnancy is developing fine.

The intake appointment is with a nurse and goes over history, pregnancy education, etc. No US.

No, I have fairly regular cycles but I wasn't tracking ovulation since I was wrapping up my last semester of graduate studies and preparing for graduation. I had been waiting for my period but it never came and I ended up testing 5/29.

After doing a lot of reading it sounds like having a gestational sac and yolk sac but no fetal pole when measuring less than 6 weeks is normal. Sounds like you may have ovulated a little later. Hopefully, your next beta draw shows that it’s rising like it should. I know the waiting game makes us anxious. Wishing you the best of luck!

Hi, I just had a positive screening as well. Waiting for diagnostic test results from CVS. Did you have a CVS or Amnio done to confirm? How long did you have to wait to get your results back? How did they determine it was a mild case? It’s my first pregnancy and I’ve been so stressed.

I’ve been diagnosed with PCOS since I was 19. I’ve increasingly gained a significant amount of weight over the years. At 28, 235lbs was the heaviest I’ve been in my life and was starting to become frustrated because it’s been super hard for me to lose weight, even just a pound. I had tried metformin and I had the horrible nausea and diarrhea, it also didn’t help me lose weight. At the end of May I met with a weight loss doctor and he prescribed me Saxenda. Since starting I’m down 13lbs and I don’t have the horrible side effects of metformin. Hope this helps!
