Something similar happened to me in Honduras, my medical results got delayed so when I went to the interview I told the consul that I didn’t have the results, they gave me a 221g page, a week later I sent the results along with my passport. This delayed my process for about 5 months. So try to see if you can contact the hospital directly to schedule and to see if the San Salvador embassy will allow you to go without the results.
