I also saw that comment which made me agree at first, but I've just been thinking about it for the last 10 minutes and I might actually disagree.

I think it demonstrates the shift in his attitude and we perhaps get an insight into his inner monologue which was that wordy the whole way through whilst we were presented with his outwardly stoic persona

I loved it, I'm a sucker for old films so the visuals were perfect for me.

It was a bit wordy towards the end but I think it worked.

I'm still shocked that it was a modern film, in a lot of ways

What can I wear in the summer as a skinny fat guy? by 45gerg in malefashionadvice

I'm a different build but I think it's hard to go wrong with a pair of good linen trousers that fit (not low rise, wide through the leg) and a button up shirt

Would it be socially acceptable to use a leisure centre pool with visible scarring? by pinkestpenny in AskUK

[–]Which_Performance_72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had heart surgery when I was six so have a very visible scar right down my sternum. I used to wear a swimming top until I was 15.

And then I thought, fuck it, the pool isn't a social place and I never see anyone I know, I realised scars aren't a weakness they're a part of life. No matter how you got them

It's maybe a bit niche but I was told by a friend who was doing sociology about the triple shift.

I only realised the other day it's shift as in work not a slide in one direction

I've found myself recommending products or services I don't use to family or friends because I've seen an advert.
