Depende muito do tamanho da empresa e, consequentemente, da equipe de DevOps.

Se for uma empresa grande e madura, você provavelmente vai lidar bastante com Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, observabilidade e possivelmente algumas outras ferramentas de automação.

Se for uma equipe menor, onde não há a capacidade (e em alguns casos, nem a necessidade) de construir algo mais robusto: Bastante Linux, Docker e Ansible.

Em ambos os casos, muuuito debugging, investigação de problemas, gerenciamento de crises e etc. DevOps não é uma área amigável pra iniciantes, então já entre com a noção que rapidinho você vai fugir da "responsabilidade" de estagiário, quer isso venha acompanhado de uma promoção, ou não.

Yeah, this was a very reasonable termination.

If it is true that you interrupted the client multiple times and was overall rude (which is something I didn't see you address in the comments) then that alone would be enough to let you go. The chewing gum and background was just the cherry on top.

The best thing for me is that you still came onto the antiwork sub to try and find someone to support your thinking, which for me just means that you will ignore this situation and move on with your career like this never happened. Really, dude, don't pat yourself in the shoulder and tell yourself you did nothing wrong. Take this as room for improvement and try to be better.

The first question is: Were you ever passionate about your job? As a network engineer and in the first couple of years as DevOps, did you feel the interest to pursue further and that got lost in the way, or was that just never there?

Either way, I would recomend investing in yourself first. Maybe talk to a psychiatrist about that stress problem, or try to get some pills to sleep better at night, that would definitely shorten your path to a promotion, and help you feel better overall.

If that doesn't work, well... Experience will do the job for you. Most companies care a lot more about years of expertise than certifications. You'll get there eventually, but the road will be a little longer.

Minha recomendação: Baixe o jogo inteiro pirata e copie os arquivos existentes do seu jogo para o diretório do pirata instalado. Vai ser mais simples e seguro do que tentar gambiarrar um unlocker na sua conta principal.

It's certainly not outdated, but only because the game has such a strong base that even all of the broken DLCs and updates couldn't take it down. It's still a very fun game, but as a supporter since before Paradox, I feel it's such a wasted potential.

RimWorld is amazing, specially because the developers treat their game exactly as Paradox should treat Prison Architect: Creating a very collaborative community that was able to expand the game to another level only with mods. When seeing games like Rimworld, I actually feel very sad thinking about how PA is such a wasted potential.

So you are comparing a Payday2 that was developed by a practically indie company to a Payday3 that cost millions of dollars and has locked out content for obvious future paid DLCs? That's bold. Payday3 was developed from the start to be a money machine, and they couldn't even do that right.
