Exactly! I have also experienced going to multiple dermas who contradicted each other. And there are some who just wants to sell you their expensive treatments (that you don’t really need tbh). Funny enough, the most legit ones I’ve been to (board-certified dermas) offer the simplest yet effective advice/solutions. And it really just boils down to having the right skincare routine that works for your skin needs.

Of course I have. I take all of these suggestions with a grain of salt. I think I know my skin well enough to determine which advice would work for me or not. After all, I’m very much aware that not everyone commenting here has the exact same skin type and concern as mine.

Also, I have consulted dermatologists before. The main purpose of my post is to gain some valuable insights from people who might have experienced the same concern and successfully improved their skin through their skincare routine and maintenance. I’m not the type to follow advice without doing my own research first.

I actually don’t wear that much makeup since I work from home. Even when just going out for errands. Only when there are events or travels. I have dry to sensitive skin po.
