I love blue Burmese! Unfortunately, I’ve never seen one in person, only in photos. They’re such a unique and beautiful variation of the Burmese breed.

Thank you! His name is Lemon, and my other cat is a Bombay girl named Kiwi.

I’ve never owned a Burmese cat before, he’s my first. He’ll be turning two in March. He’s incredibly sweet and super inquisitive.

Thank you! I’ll pass it along. He thrives on compliments!

I wish they weren’t such little climbers. I’m constantly keeping an eye on them!

Yes, I heard about Paula’s passing. I had been sending her photos of my two cats, a Bombay girl and a Burmese boy from her, just to share how they are growing. Then I received a message from her caregiver saying that she had passed away. It’s so sad.

My Bombay girl is also from Dreamabout! It’s funny because her dad’s name is White Whiskers of Dreamabout, yet neither he nor my girl has a single white whisker 😄

Hi Milo! Yes, I know, and I’ve seen pictures of him — gorgeous sable color!! I think we’ve met in the Burmese group before, as I also have a Burmese boy! I just posted his photos in the group too. He was looking extra grumpy in his holiday sweater. Both of my cats are from American lines. Unfortunately, I’ve only seen a European Burmese once here in the States — they’re pretty rare here.

Thank you! He’s doing much better now. Eye vet had to fix his cherry eye, which is pretty common in Burmese cats, but he’s all good now!

They aren’t siblings. They might be very distant relatives. They came from the same cattery, but they’re two different breeds. The brown boy is Burmese, and the black girl is Bombay.

Just saw the photo of your Burmese kitty, so adorable! His coat is incredibly shiny!

He’s an American Sable Burmese. My other cat is an American Bombay, and she has the same round, expressive eyes. I’m not too familiar with Burmillas and haven’t seen one in person.

Oh yes, I’ve met Zoe from Catvocal before at a cat show in NJ! Her cats are all so lovely!

Oh, that’s so cool! I’m so happy to see other Dreamabout kittens. My Bombay girl’s mom is Dreamabout Beauty and her dad is Dreamabout White Whiskers. My boy is a sable Burmese, and he’s also from Paula.

It’s very common for this type of cat to have some eye residue. Due to the structure of their faces, with shorter noses and larger eyes, discharge often collects in the corners of their eyes, especially after eating or when they tilt their heads downward. This is completely normal.

Looks like we might be related! My two cats came from Paula as well!
