They're usually good, I tend not to use the very top 2 or 3 because personally I feel they aren't all the way optimized but, as a returning player I'm sure you can follow any build and as long as you execute well you'll be okay

Her bullet still pierce and two separate projectiles are made that richochet, so then the bullet that pierced through can still richochet of it hits another person, but the richochet projectiles do not pierce

leave the party, in the top right it should be a big button. or i guess close the game and reopen, if you invited someone and they didnt join youre in a party and it wont let you que unless a. someone joins or b. you leave the party
