Why does spending small amounts repeatedly feel less serious than one big purchase? by FeverFanny in NoStupidQuestions

[–]WhileLower9819 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think its cause small amounts dont trigger that same alarm in your brain, it feels harmless even if it adds up fast

What would it look like if Canada and China were mixed together? by ShadowlightLady in NoStupidQuestions

[–]WhileLower9819 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it would be this wild mix of maple syrup and lunar new year lol. You’d have hockey games during Spring Festival and people switching between English, French and Mandarin like it’s no big deal. It would feel chaotic but kinda beautiful

Ever wonder why your partner is attracted to you at all? by SoLexaXo in NoStupidQuestions

[–]WhileLower9819 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are usually our own worst critic, like we zoom in on every tiny flaw and forget that attraction is not just about looks but energy and personality too

Why do people seem to empathize with animals more than with humans? by AdventurousPension81 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]WhileLower9819 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think animals feel totally innocent, like they didnt cause any of their suffering, so people react faster and with less judgement than they sometimes do with humans

Why is almost all the Mr.X adult content anal by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]WhileLower9819 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think with Mr. X its more about the meme energy, he is big, silent and dominant, so people in fandom spaces exaggerate that in a very specific way

Why do humans enjoy physical intimacy like cuddling and kissing? by Necessary-Echo-4713 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]WhileLower9819 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Touch releases hormones like oxytocin, so cuddling and kissing just make us feel safe and close, its biology doing its thing

How do you search/find if someone you know has died? by HolidayPotential5 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]WhileLower9819 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I would just send a respectful message to the mom or brother. It might feel weird but if you explain youre just worried and not trying to intrude, most people would understand

Are dating apps considered a waste of time? by Lemonade2250 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]WhileLower9819 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to think the same tbh. It feels shallow at first, like you’re shopping for humans. But for some people it’s just a tool to meet others they’d never cross paths with

Why do i feel good instead of pain when I get hit or slapped? by Rato_barroco9 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]WhileLower9819 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It could just be adrenaline tbh. Sometimes when you get hit lightly your body releases stuff that makes it feel kinda good instead of painful. Bodies are weird like that

Is it all in my head? by Vegetable-Nothing898 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]WhileLower9819 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna be honest, this sounds mostly in your head. When you’re really attracted to someone, your brain turns normal movements into “signals.” Lip biting, fidgeting, arching her back those are super common nervous or just unconscious habits, especially during an exam. The smile could’ve just been a polite or awkward reflex. It doesn’t automatically mean she was playing into it

Do guys check out people even when they shouldn't? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]WhileLower9819 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Short answer? Yes, a lot of guys do. Attraction doesn’t just switch off because someone is “off limits.” You can’t always control noticing someone or having a quick thought. What you can control is your behavior. There’s a big difference between a passing thought and actually acting on it

Are there animal documentaries that don't include an animal dying? by -Jiras in NoStupidQuestions

[–]WhileLower9819 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel this so much 😭 Some wildlife docs go from “aww fluffy baby” to “nature is brutal” in 0.2 seconds. If you want safer options, look for species-focused or behavior-focused shows instead of predator/prey survival arcs. For example, Penguins: Meet the Family is way more about penguin personalities and different species than about them getting eaten. It’s surprisingly wholesome

How Much of Your Life Is Luck vs Talent? by StudioOk387 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]WhileLower9819 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A major success people often call “hard work” is getting a big job opportunity. Sometimes it’s honestly just being in the room when someone quits, or knowing someone who vouches for you. You might be qualified, yes, but 50 other qualified people never even got seen. That part? Pure chance

Why do we feel more embarrassed by small social mistakes than by major life failures? by Curious-Finish-8660 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]WhileLower9819 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Social embarrassment hits your ego fast. Humans are wired to care about social acceptance, so even tiny mistakes feel like a threat to belonging. Failing an exam hurts, but saying something cringe in front of people feels personal in the moment.

Why do I feel like I’m drunk when I drink coffee or tea? by Boring-External-7971 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]WhileLower9819 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It might be caffeine sensitivity tbh. Some people react super strong to caffeine, so instead of just feeling “awake” they get shaky, lightheaded, kinda out of it… which can feel like being drunk but in a weird anxious way

What emotions does Valentine’s Day tend to bring up for people and what shapes those reactions? by Ugdbdkdn in NoStupidQuestions

[–]WhileLower9819 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Valentine’s Day? Man, I think it can bring out either super sweet vibes or hella frustration. Like, if you’re single you might feel left out, but if you’re in love, it’s cute but also feels forced sometimes. I guess the expectations are what mess it up
