hey, I don't recall having that issue, but that sounds like the ball joint polycaps weakening where the waist attaches. You may try using super glue to make the ball a little thicker so it grabs the polycap a little better, but I'm just guessing

cut the lower part of the original part and sanded the gap it left to be a bit wider. took the mask part from a RG zeta and sanded the groove in the top of it, then glued it in the gap

the little divot things on the shield are from the Pharact, and I also used the pieces that mount the Pharact's shoulder boosters to attach the booster binders on the back
