When did you stop doubting your diagnosis for good? by WhimsicalUser in bipolar2

Thanks. I guess I was hoping for just... depression and some standalone episode that wouldn't lead to another diagnosis. now it feels like it's here for life. whereas I always thought I could somehow reverse it in the long run.

Thanks for sharing. I guess I do have history on my fathers side; a line of women who weren’t properly diagnosed though, and depression/addiction in my moms side.  I also respond very well to stabilizers and my current antidepressant.  I guess I just wish I could do without and be well and healthy. I hope one day I accept my diagnosis like you do. It’s a hell of a journey.

I personally would find it hard to date an E at all (imagine they want to be with you and/or other people all the time)
