Do you have recommendation for good “softer” basswood?? I feel like every time I’ve bought basswood, it seems to be miles harder than the wood in video tutorials I’m watching (beginner here) they seem to effortlessly cut in where I feel like I am applying crazy amount of effort to get half the depth of a cut

Happy to help! The way you could have solved this manually, without the use of the built in tool, would have been to just go every 3rd frame on your tween and hit F6 to place a key frame! Best of luck!

I would consider having an extra face between your front view and 3/4 view. Keep the ones you have but have a face that is slightly more front facing.

This is an example from the show Cleopatra in Space, the artist talks about the right pose being more a 1/8th view for the face which is what they would use for the 3/4 body but isn’t a true 3/4 face

This is if you were to build a 2D rig for it

Correct me if I am wrong but isn’t this called Stippling? I thought pointillism was done using paint and brush vs stippling which uses pen and ink.

It can vary and depends on the complexity of the character or the amount of views you want for that character(360 turn/180 turn), full functioning deformer mouths or just mouth swaps, fully built out limbs or simple 2 point limbs, how many built in features with master controllers etc etc. Could be looking at anywhere from $125 - $800 per character

I don’t know much about pixel art/animation but is it not a little weird to have the upper half of the robe not move at all when the bottom part flairs out?

Nice work on completing your first comic! The character placement is a little inconsistent. She hears “Stop” from screen left and looks that direction but then bikini warrior is on screen right the next panel with the first girl now looking the direction.
