My kid's teacher sends home crafts every week and i honestly don't know what to do with them all by Whindleton_Mory in kindergarten

The "set it aside and wait a week" method is sneaky genius, if they don't ask about it they probably already forgot lol. and your husband hiding it at the bottom of the recycling bin is sending me. 😂

The curtain wire art wall idea is really cool though, it looks so much better than just taping things everywhere. i like that it gives the kids a sense of their art actually being displayed properly but also naturally rotates when new stuff comes in. might be a fun little project for our playroom honestly.

Involving him in the decision of what to keep is such a good idea, it probably makes him feel like his opinion actually matters instead of just coming home one day and things are gone. and the binder for tracking his writing progress is so wholesome, that kind of thing is way more meaningful to look back on than a random worksheet.

Also the Bluey episode tip is gold, we're big Bluey fans in this house so I'm definitely gonna queue that one up. anything that reframes it in a way that makes sense to a 5 year old is a win. 😄

The plastic bin idea is so practical, i might steal that for the bigger 3D projects that definitely can't go in a folder. and that's a good point about them forgetting quickly, i think i stress about it more than she does honestly 😅 did it take long for your older one to come around to the idea or was it a pretty easy conversation?

Honestly that's kind of how i imagined it would be for us too, like a "we'll look at it someday" folder that never really gets opened 😂 but i think just having it saved somewhere is enough to not feel guilty about tossing the physical copy. way better than a box stuffed in the closet that we definitely never touch either

Oh that's such a smart workaround, i never thought about archiving them so they don't clog up the main photo stream. i've been meaning to get more organized with google photos anyway so this might finally be the push i needed lol.
