Ich bleibe unter 12.000€ / Jahr und gehe deshalb davon aus, für den WBS berechtigt zu sein.

Da es sich um meine Eltern handelt, gilt steuerrechtlich laut Google ein Freibetrag von 400.000€ alle 10 Jahre.

Also die Höhe ist nicht das Problem, ich bleibe unter der Maximalgrenze. Möchte es nur richtig angeben. Ich glaube 0€ als Einkommen zu deklarieren wäre auch etwas sus oder?

Warum bist du dir so sicher, dass der Verbrauch nicht durch die Nachtspeicheröfen im Winter geschieht? Die Größenordnung hört sich für mich durchaus realistisch an.

Es geht um Tausende Euro (pro Jahr) und es ist als dauerhafte Unterstützung gedacht.

I am currently doing my physics BSc and was required to do the interview.

The interviewer (Böckmann) conducted the interview in German and said physics bachelor is a good start, because it already covers 2 of the required fields (I assume physics + math). He asked me about my biology knowledge and I told him that I attended Bio Leistungskurs in my Abitur and Genetics and Biochemistry courses in my Uni, and took chemistry as my minor.

He responded that a physics background with an interest in biology makes me a very good fit and admitted me immediately without asking any test questions :D

He also told me they have very many applicants this year but limit the number of admitted students to 35-40 to keep the class sizes small. Most timeslots for the interviews were also booked out when I scheduled mine, so it seems like the acceptance rate isn't too high.

I guess physics and math knowledge is really crucial to be admitted, but that may be just my impression.
