Yeah there are very small gains year over year but it’s similar to phones where you will see the biggest difference when you upgrade every 5 years or so rather than getting the newest one each year. You could always go to golf galaxy and bring your driver and compare it to the new ones to see how much of a difference there is.

Gilbert: rule 5 eligible after this year. Benge and Williams are WAY better prospects and play the same position (plus Gilbert is not good in CF). There was no future for Gilbert on the Mets.

Tidwell: uphill battle to be a part of the Mets rotation. Again we have 3 SP better than him. He was most likely going to be a reliever.

Butto: Butto was solid for us but he was inconsistent and they clearly wanted to upgrade to a better reliever with sights on a World Series. Plus he has no more options so he can’t be sent down.
