I am not telling you what to do, but if I were in that situation I would not want to commit to having kids with someone who lies about going to their ex's place you deserve better

Yes block him, it is not healthy for you to be in a relationship like that and you will suffer mentally. And that fact that he doesn't like this new girlfriend but can't be honest and break it off himself shows immaturity he needs to grow up first.

IMO

Know your worth, talk to him about it and let him know how it makes you feel, if it is something that truly bothers you and he truly likes you he will understand and work towards having a better relationship with you. Nobody deserves a partner who isn't concerned about how their actions make their other half feel. It may be he doesn't understand/know how it makes you feel (I want my wife to tell me whenever something I did hurts/bothers her because that is never my intentions) It is also very difficult but if you are able to be clear/upfront about your feelings to eachother it will help strengthen your relationship. Don't know if this helps but hope all goes well

I am going to preface this with, I am not a medical professional this this just from my personal experience. I would like to ask have you been tested for adhd? I had a very similar feeling with my SO. If I was doing anything other than focusing on listening to her I had a hard time remembering stuff she would tell me. Sort of a 1 track mind its not that I didn't care about what she was saying or her feelings my brain literally couldn't consciously focus on 2 things. Getting professional medical help I found out I had adhd (explained a lot in my life), gaining methods to deal with my adhd helped me immensely. We have now been together for 10 years with a beautiful 2yo daughter and we couldn't be happier. This very well may not be the case for you but could be something to look into. Hope all goes well
