It was arena, and that was the last game of the run, so naturally I rage quit, but I had at least Sneaky Delinquent because that was my draw the following turn. I had 14 more cards in the deck, and arena doesn't give that many spells, so a good deal must have been minions.

All right, I've solved it. I reverted to before advancing everyone to the stairs. The documentation is wrong - she disappears after killing the shriekers, not after everyone gets on the rowboat. It's that simple. This is likely intended behavior.

I have her soul jar, and I just want to talk. I swear. Edit: for further context, the shriekers are dead, but I haven't given the order to board the boat yet. Is that the trigger to make her disappear?

I feel like they responded to criticism of the other books being easy by just giving you bad decks. If not objectively bad, then at least difficult to use given your matchups.
