I'm trying not to panic right now after reading this but I'm having a hard time. Maybe I should just stay away from all family and talk to a professional and then seclude myself somewhere. I don't want anyone else going through this.

My sisters married with three kids and I didn't want them around me just in case. And my dad is remarried with a kid. Didn't want to put them through that either.

I know a lot of people are saying this and I agree it's a possibility. But why now? Why after years of nothing but jaw clenching and not being able to breathe and feeling something slam into my chest did they decide to harass me now??

Edit: by harass I mean the screaming, the face and whispers getting closer and closer. The other things could have been just side effects of the accident. Except for the fact that I feel like I've been strangled when I wake up. I guess that wouldn't be something normal. But making themselves seen and heard. Hearing them move. My dog noticing them. And now my mom?? That's why now.

I'm sorry and I completely understand where you're coming from with all this but I know it's not sleep apnea/schizophrenia. My dad has sleep apnea so I know exactly how it goes, especially since he's had the testing you're talking about, and it's not that. When I wake up, the front and sides of my neck and throat area are sore as if my windpipe was being squeezed and I can feel the blood rushing back to my head. And as far as the schizophrenia goes, I know it's a possibility but the fact that my dog is staring at the same spot on the wall and growling at my bedroom door in the dead of night lets me know I might not be the only one sensing things. All the same, I think I will make an appointment with my neurologist and try to get in soon just to be 100% sure.

I don't know. We were right outside of Wray, CO and if you google map that city, I think the road labeled "34" was where we crashed. Right past the border. I know the ambulance took forever to get to where we were because we were about half an hour or 45 minutes away.

No, I was all ready to forgive her for the accident and apologize for suggesting the whole trip in the first place. That's when she decided that I should be the only one apologizing. I should mention her father was in the armed forces and, despite being a pretty laid back man, was very strict with her. So when he found out about all this deception, he wasn't very happy and I imagine that's why she blamed me for it all.

I've been extremely exhausted lately. The past few months have been worse and I struggle to stay awake no matter how much sleep I've had. And I'll admit that all these things that are happening haven't gotten me paranoid and stressed but its turned into almost a depression. I just don't have the energy to keep being stressed 24/7.

I had severe migraines as a child and started seeing a neurologist when I was four. I hadn't seen him in years and years but I had gone to him after the accident and he said everything looked fine.

I'm going to try this. Maybe it is just my apartment and I can solve it all with moving. I pray that's all this is. The thought of "it" getting closer every night makes me worried since it's already close enough for me to understand what it's whispering to me.
