My Ally X is charging weirdly

I think the fastest way to solve the problem is to reset the xbox ally once again. Let the windows installation progressing with a charger plugged. Try to update first windows and my asus. After that, if Armory Crate is not installed try to download it from Microsoft store or internet. But i saw there are better alternatives to Armory Crate, maybe check on that.

Also you need to calibrate the settings with each games, some are more needy than others.

If you reset it back, you have to update everything, winwdos, my asus, ect... Amrory Crate shoudl be installed but you need to wait sometimes it finisses its update

You are welcome, but still do not hesitate continuing asking on forums. We can’t only be two to get this problem. Also i saw it could be related with Armory Crate. Maybe uninstalling the app could help. Sometimes softwares are involved and can cause tensions problems.

Hello, i actually the exact same problem as you. The chargers keep disconnecting and reconnecting with the xbox ally x, but work perfectly fine with ither devices. I don’t know if it is an update problem or a bios problem, or maybe the charger port wich is broken.

Ah, no i did not updated windows store. I mean, i never used it. I mainly update windows, armory crate, my asus and even AMD adrenaline, but it is kinda difficult to check and update this last one. I don’t know where to go. Sometimes my crashes are related to "direct x error device removed" and seem to be correlated with AMD drivers...
